Broken Promises (Broken 3)
“Shit, you were too loud,” I whispered to Liza.
She hit me on shoulder, giggling. “Me? You yelled my name louder while you banged the hell out of me!”
I whispered, “You didn’t enjoy it?”
She gave me the sexiest grin I’d ever seen. “Oh, I didn’t say that,” she whispered.
I was about to say something when the knock came again, louder. I set Liza down and she covered her mouth, trying not to laugh. I ran into the bathroom and wrapped a towel around my waist before heading to the door.
Liza got dressed as she whispered, “What are you doing?”
I turned and winked at her before opening the door. My jaw dropped when I saw Keith standing there. I’d only seen him a few times before, but I’d know him anywhere.
He gave me a once-over with nothing but hate in his eyes. We stared each other down.
Finally, he said, “Could you possibly not fuck your slut up against the wall?”
Something in me snapped. I grabbed him and pushed him across the hall, slamming him into the wall. I heard two girls scream—one of them was Liza.
“Walker, please don’t do this.”
Keith’s mouth gaped open as he whispered, “Liza, what are you doing here?”
“Who else did you think would be with Walker?” she asked.
“Apologize to her now,” I hissed as I pushed Keith harder into the wall.
“Keith, what’s going on?”
I turned to see a scared blonde in tight jeans and an even tighter white top in the hall.
Keith glanced at her before saying, “I’m sorry, Liza. We came to Austin for the weekend and I had no idea I’d run into you. What are you doing here? And why are you letting him fuck you against a damn hotel wall like a cheap…”
I pulled back to punch him when Liza grabbed my arm.
“No! Stop.”
I looked over my shoulder at Liza and dropped my grip on Keith, taking a step back.
Liza stared at Keith, confused, her beautiful blues eyes filled with anger.
“Keith, we aren’t together anymore. What I’m doing here with my boyfriend is none of your business. Just like it’s none of my business what you’re doing here.”
Keith ran his hand through his hair and shook his head. “It’s just hard to see you with…” He glanced over to me, giving me a look that should have dropped me to the ground. “With him.”
The tall blonde took a step toward Keith, but she stared at me, licking her lips. “I think I’m going to go ask the front desk about switching rooms, Keith. Meet you there?”
Keith nodded. “Sounds good.”
Keith looked back at Liza and moved toward her, but she stepped back, into my arms.
He looked down and then back up at her. “Are you happy?”
She slowly nodded her head. “Yes, Keith. I am.”
He furrowed his brows, but nodded. “Liza, I see the way you’re looking at me. You still feel something. Don’t you remember what it felt like to have me inside you?”
What the fuck? I started to make my way back to Keith when Liza stepped between us. She turned to me and shook her head before glaring at Keith. “Keith. We’re over.”
