“That’s a great idea. Then there’s another room next to ours that I thought we could both use as an office.”

I smiled. My goodness. He wasn’t going to make this easy.

“I love that idea. Or it could be used as a nursery for the baby, since it looks like all the other bedrooms are upstairs.”

Blake nodded. “We could do that. There are four bedrooms upstairs, we can make one into an office and . . .”

He stopped talking and turned to look at me. My hand was over my stomach, and I was smiling like a silly schoolgirl.

“You keep mentioning a baby.”

“I do.”

“Morgan?” his voice cracked with emotion, and I nodded again.

“I believe I saved the best wedding present for last, Mr. Greene.”

His eyes widened, and his face broke into a brilliant smile.

“Are you pregnant?”

A tear slipped free, and I somehow managed to answer, “Yes.”

Blake placed his hand over his heart and started to cry. I swooned on the spot and had to reach for a chair to keep my legs from giving out.

“You’re pregnant?”

“Yes.”

He reached for me, pulled me into his arms, and spun us around.

“You’re pregnant!” he cried out with joy.

When he stopped and slowly put me down, he used his thumbs to wipe away my tears while I did the same to him.

“You’re going to be a daddy, Blake.”

Drawing me back to him, he kissed me. It was the most magical kiss we had shared yet. I could feel his love, happiness, and excitement pouring into me.

He slowly drew back and leaned his forehead to mine.

“Morgan,” he softly spoke, his thumb caressing my cheek. “I’ve never been so happy in my entire life. How far along?”

“Not very far. I haven’t been feeling well, and I took a pregnancy test yesterday at my office. I’m guessing it happened pretty quickly since I just stopped taking my birth control last month.”

He cupped my face in his hands and stared into my eyes.

“You and this baby of ours mean the world to me. I swear on my life I will love you both until the day I die.”

I sobbed and attempted to speak, but nothing came out. I had never imagined I would be so happy. To know what it felt like to have someone love and adore me so intensely I felt like I couldn’t breathe without him. Nothing else in the world mattered except for him, the child I was carrying, and our love.

“I’m going to make love to you now.”

“Yes,” I said softly before he kissed me again.

Carrying me up the steps, Blake slowly undressed me, taking his time as he worshiped every inch of my body, taking extra time to kiss my stomach and tell our child how much he already loved him or her.

Then with one more kiss to my lips, we were lost to each other. It was only the three of us. Forever and always.

The End.
