Her eyes were bright with happy tears as she looked at him. “Our future. I like that.”
She came to him and kissed his lips, gently and sweetly.
“Thank you, Wyatt. And yes. I say yes.”
“You're skipping ahead,” he teased her. “I'm supposed to ask if you'll marry me before you say yes.”
She laughed and kissed him. “Then ask me before I can't stop kissing you.”
“Cassie, will you marry me? Escape with me to this island and live happily ever after?” Wyatt's heart thudded in his chest, even though she'd already said yes.
This wasn't quite his plan, but he'd learned that with Cassie, he didn't need a plan. He just needed her.
“Yes. Yes to everything.”
And they lived happily ever after.
