What I refuse to accept is being used by her. Fuck that. She doesn’t get to move into my life, climb into my bed and then just walk away. Especially not after she’d made me fall in love with her demented ass.

We pulled up to her address. A nice place, if a little big for one. It was the home she’d grown up in. I sat in the car for a few minutes gathering my thoughts and calming myself down before I strangled her as soon as she opened the damn door.

Sydney

When is this feeling going to go away? When will I stop missing him and his adorable little girls and the time we had together? It was my third day in bed, crying.

After I’d returned home, I thought I would feel a sense of elation, but all I felt was emptiness and grief. I mourned him like I’d lost someone dear and cursed Claudia for once again taking something precious from me.

I rolled over when I heard the doorbell chime. Who could that be? I’m not in the habit of having guests. My aunt had passed a few years ago and there was really no one else.

I made my way downstairs not even bothering to cover up the sleep shorts and tank I’d worn to bed last night. It was the end of the day and I was now getting out of bed, but I had nowhere to go so it didn’t really mattered.

At least dad’s money had been of some use. I never have to work and I could keep mom in comfort for the rest of her life. With my one mission in life over, I was free to do whatever I wished. But I couldn’t find the strength to do anything but lay in bed and remember.

“Who…” My eyes widened when I saw him standing there. “How…” I barely got the word out before he was pushing me back inside and closing the door.

My mind started to race and I remembered I was wearing the special necklace. I’d put it on in a moment of weakness when I’d been missing him enough to hurt. “That’s not gonna work this time.”

“What do you mean?” My hand dropped from the pendant as his eyes stayed on mine. He kept moving forward as I stepped back until my knees hit the couch.

“The hypnosis I had a roommate in college who used to dabble in that. I noticed all the signs the night you tried. It’s never worked, I knew everything we did since the beginning.”

He was removing his clothes as he spoke and my eyes followed as if in a trance. When he reached out and tore my tank it brought back memories and my body prepared itself. My knees grew weak and I could no longer stand, so I fell backwards on the couch. “So why didn’t you stop me?”

I watched as he kicked off his shoes before shoving his slacks and boxers down, revealing his cock that was hard and already leaking precum.

“Because I didn’t know why you were doing it. After I did some digging I uncovered the whole story. Open.” He didn’t wait for me to comply but pushed my legs open before climbing on top of me.

“I…” I started to talk, to explain. He slammed his cock into me hard and I started cumming just as the tears began to fall.

“Tell me!” His hand tightened in my hair. “Was I just a fuck to get back at her?”

“No, in the beginning maybe, I don’t know… please…” He read my eyes as if searching for the truth. His hand in my hair didn’t ease but he’d lost that look of intense anger. I looked back at him, hoping he’d see what I wanted him to. That I was sorry, that I’d missed him that I wanted to be with him. Always!

“I’ll deal with you later.” Those words made something take flight inside me. He covered my lips with his and the kiss consumed me.

It felt surreal to be here like this with him when I’d thought for sure that it was over. He made love to me the same as before, driving in deep. But there was a new intensity, almost as if he were afraid I’d disappear again.

“I told you this was mine, that you are mine. How dare you run away from me? Never again!” He held my head back roughly so that I could see his eyes, see the seriousness there.

“Answer me damn you. How could you walk away?” I had to fight to speak around the lump in my throat.

“I didn’t know. I thought you wouldn’t want me if you knew…”

“You thought wrong. I want you, I’m in love with you, you little idiot.” If hearts could fly mine did. In that moment I didn’t think about Claudia or anything else.
