Daddy's Angel (Montana Daddies 7)
“Is there an action movie? I’m in the mood for watching stuff being blown up.”
“Wasn’t quite what I had in mind. But okay.”
They settled in when he found a re-run of an old classic. She snuggled in against his wide chest with a contented sigh.
She didn’t realize she’d started to doze off until she was suddenly moving.
“You’re really strong,” she mumbled as he carried her out of the room in his arms. “I like that. I didn’t think I would. But it’s sexy.”
He snorted. She yawned as he carried her through her bedroom to the bathroom. He set her down. She swayed.
“You gonna be okay in here by yourself?”
“Sure. Been peeing on my own for a while now.”
He turned her towards the toilet. “Go. Do what you need to. I’ll be in the bedroom.”
She stumbled through her routine then walked out to find he’d already turned down her bed. She practically fell into it. His soft laughter filled the room and she smiled.
He tucked her in then ran his fingers through her hair. “Where’s your stuffy, angel?”
“My. . .my what?”
“Your stuffy. Where do you keep it? Assume you sleep with it, since you were carrying it the first night I saw you sleepwalking.”
“How many times have I done it?”
“Three that I know of. Twice here. Once at Tom’s. Jen had a stuffed teddy that we gave you.”
“Oh God. That’s so embarrassing.”
“What have I told you about being embarrassed?”
“Yes. . .but you might be a Daddy Dom, however Tom. . .”
“Has known me a long time. He knew my ex-wife. He knows what a Little is. He’s also involved in a long-term ménage relationship. Takes a lot to embarrass him.”
“Jillian was your Little?”
“No. Sometimes she tried to be in order to manipulate me. Not that I realized it at the time. But she wasn’t a Little.”
“Have you had many?”
“Nope. Just you. Your stuffy?”
“In the drawer under the bed,” she whispered, surprised at his answer. “Her name is Patches.”
“Right. I should have guessed.” He pulled the puppy out and handed her over. She snatched the stuffed puppy close.
“This really doesn’t worry you.”
“Baby, I think it’s cute as fuck. I’d tell you if I thought differently.” He leaned in and kissed her forehead. “You like dogs, huh?”
“Yeah. I always wanted a puppy, but my mother is allergic.”
“You had a cat instead?”
“No, she’s allergic to them as well.”
