To Save Sir (Doms of Decadence 7)

Cady stood. “Just let her know we’re here for her. If she wants a girls’ night or something, Lacey and I are happy to come over or go out.”

Except he didn’t like the idea of her going out without him. Was he too possessive? No, it wasn’t that he didn’t trust her. She wasn’t like Amelia, who’d played games. But he knew he’d spend the whole time worrying about her. What if she drank too much, and some asshole came on to her, and she couldn’t fight him off?

“Relax, Curt. We all know at least one of you guys will be with us. As long as you keep your distance and don’t interrupt, we’ll let you or Hunter or Gray tag along.”

Right. He should have known Hunter and Gray would have this stuff figured out. Funny, he’d never been this possessive with Amelia. Not even with all her taunts about finding herself a real man.

As Cady left him on his own, his worry increased. Jenna wasn’t one to play games, but he knew she was holding something back and he couldn’t help but wonder why.

Eighteen years without parole.

Oh, God. Jenna felt ill as she walked into Curt’s apartment. She sat on one of his chairs. Daisy came up to her with a whimper as though sensing Jenna’s pain and laid her head on her lap. She rubbed the big dog’s head.

“That was harsher than I expected,” Curt said as he walked in. He leaned against the wall, looking down at her. “Arms trafficking penalties aren’t usually that high, but they threw everything at him they could. Still, he had no priors and he pleaded guilty.”

“They’re not happy because he wouldn’t tell them anything about The Brit,” Jenna said numbly. “Probably because he wants to protect my mother and me.”

“Jenna, I—”

“Will you take control tonight?” she interrupted him.

“What?” He looked down at her in surprise.

“I want . . . I need you to take control. Okay? I can’t think. I don’t want to think. Curt, I—” she broke off on a sob. Please let him do this for her.

“Get up, sub,” he said in a low voice.

Oh, thank you, God.

She stood.

“Come here.”

She walked towards him, her body trembling. She stopped in front of him.

“Look up at me.”

She stared up into his stern eyes. She didn’t know what was coming next but she knew Curt would look after her. All she had to do was please him, and there would be nothing else but him. Everything else would disappear.

“Daisy—” She looked over at the dog.

Curt delivered a hard smack to her ass, and she jumped, rubbing at the sting. She glared up at him. “Did I say you could look away from me?”

“No, but I thought—”

“Your job isn’t to think right now. Your job is to do exactly what I say. Your job is to please me, is it not?”

“Yes, Sir,” she said in a low whisper. “I’m sorry.”

He cupped her chin, and his gaze softened. “You’re sure this is what you need, Jenna?”

She blinked back tears. He always took the time to make certain she was okay.

“Yes. I need this right now, Curt. Please.”

He kissed her gently on the lips then turned her, delivering another hard smack to her ass. “Get into the bedroom, strip and sit on the side of the bed. I’m going to take care of Daisy then I’ll be in.”
