The Duke's Broken Angel

Keir pulled me down into the grass with him, tucking me under his arm as his fingers traced circles on the top of my head. After a few long beats, he finally spoke. “I meant every word of that, Cricket.” His eyes shifted to meet mine. “Every damn word. It drives me crazy when you don’t listen to me. So I needed you to feel what I mean.”

He pushed a thumb past my lips to swirl around my mouth. I sucked in a quick breath, the scent of us in the air.

“I...” My chest heaved. “Keir, I want you again. That was my first time and it was amazing.”

“Cricket,” he caught my gaze, “are you serious?”

I nodded.

“You wanna know what your punishment is for not telling me that before? And for looking for another job?”

I nodded, eyes wide.

“You’re not allowed to come, Cricket. Think you can do that? Think you can control that wild way you scream when my fingers are here?” He slipped a thumb between my pussy lips and teased. I arched and bucked, hips working against his hand and driving me nearly to the edge of release. And then he placed a kiss on my clit, dragging his teeth slowly when my head fell back and a low moan radiated from my lips. He teased my wet slit, swirling and sucking, keeping me hovering at the edge. “I don’t think you can control yourself, pretty girl.”

“I swear I hate you sometimes,” I begged as the release burned at the edge.

“Mmm.” He dove between my thighs, covering his face with me. “Doesn't taste like it, Cricket.”

“I hate you for making me want you so much. I hate you for being the only man I’ve ever wanted. The only man who made me need more.” He groaned into me, feasting on me and nipping tenderly, causing little yelps to escape my throat.

“You know why I’m doing this?”

I shook my head, unable to think straight with my orgasm so close.

“You're mine. Every inch of you is mine to please, mine to kiss, mine to touch and fuck and make come.” He pushed inside me again. “I haven’t been with a single woman, Cricket. Not one. You’re my first, and you’ll be my last. I knew from the moment you came to me you were meant to be mine,” he confessed. “It drove me crazy having you under my roof and not really havin’ you.”

He wrapped my hair around his fingers and pulled, exposing my neck, thrusting my breasts to his lips as I rode him. “Don’t come, Cricket. This is all for you. Now give me your eyes,” he ordered.

I did, and he broke me open. Release barreled through me, causing every muscle in my body to tense and burn hot before fireworks shot off in every direction. He stroked his cock swiftly, gripping and tugging as I watched him. He was gorgeous as he pleasured himself while playing with me.

Come splashed across my thighs as he came a second time in long hot spirals of semen, and then he swept a hand through it, dragging the juice up to my pussy and massaging the hard little bud until I arched and begged for more. “You know why I’m coming all over you?”

“No.”

“I’ll rub my come over every inch of this sweet body if that’s what it takes to mark you. Make you go out in public smelling like me, so you know exactly who owns this pretty pussy. I’ve been waitin’ a lifetime for you, Cricket.”

Keir

I woke the next morning with the smell of her on my sheets.

I pulled her pillow closer, searching for her sweet warmth with my hands, before I came up empty.

“Cricket?”

My eyes shot open, my morning wood ready and waiting, and Cricket nowhere to be found.

I shot out of bed and shuttled down the hall totally naked.

“Cricket?!”

I searched the kitchen and living room, no sign of her.

The only thing she’d left behind was a clean cottage.

And my heart, broken.

My eyes zeroed in on the letter then, the one that I’d found yesterday morning in the mailbox. I thought I’d fucked her into submission all night long, but it was clear she’d found the letter. I searched the opening sentences, discovering her interview was right now. While I’d slept in, love drunk and sore from fucking her all night long, she was leaving. Or preparing to leave me. There would be no telling if she’d come back, I didn’t see a sign of her shoes, her purse, not even the clothes Sandie had dropped off for her to wear.

“Goddammit, Cricket.”

I crumpled the letter all over again and went back down the hall, this time to get dressed and get my girl.

Forty minutes later I was standing outside the Royal Hospital. My family had founded this very building over a hundred years ago and we were still its top benefactors. And now here I was, about to tear down the doors.
