“A serious lapse in judgment.” He took her mouth in a hard kiss meant to mess up her lipstick and mark her as his.

As always, she opened for him immediately, but this time, she fought him for control of the kiss. His cock filled, and he walked them to the side. Mak’s back hit the wall, giving him something to brace against as he deepened the kiss.

“Shit.” He ripped his mouth away from her. “I want you to come out to the club and have fun tonight.”

She brushed a thumb over his lower lip, and he couldn’t help but sneak a nip.

“If we keep this up, we’re never gonna make it there.”

“We can be a little late—”

“Ahh! Enough outta you, naughty girl. There’ll be plenty of time to ravage me later on.” When she colored, he laughed. “Go fix your lipstick. I fucked it up good.”

He slapped her on the ass as she walked by, laughing when she yelped and scurried faster.

Though she planned to be away from him for nothing more than a minute or so as she reapplied her lipstick, the ache he experienced when she left the room had him following. It was as though he couldn’t bear to be physically separated from her.

When he reached the open door to her bedroom, he found her leaning over the dresser to get her face closer to the mirror as she swiped a glossy wand over her peachy lower lip. An image of her mouth wide and shiny taking his cock hit him hard as he advanced toward her. Shit, they needed to make that fantasy happen.

“Can’t fucking wait to get you dancing with me tonight,” he said as he came up behind her and lined himself up against her pert ass.

With a laugh, she met his gaze in the mirror. “Uh, yeah, I don’t think so.” She stuck the wand back in the tube and gave it a quick twist.

“What?” Pulling her up, he spun her around. “What do you mean, no?”

“I mean, I don’t dance. Aside from fooling around with kids, I’ve never danced in my life, and I’m not about to start tonight. Making a fool of myself in front of your family isn’t what I want.”

It was as though she’d socked him in the gut. Dancing was hands down his favorite activity. “Oh, we’re dancing, baby.” He stepped toward her, arms out as he wiggled his hips in the most unsexy manner he could imagine. “No one will think you’re a fool.”

A bark of laughter bubbled out of Mak as she slapped his hands away. “Not happening. The first time I dance, it’s not going to be with a professional in front of all his people.”

“Excuse me?” Pressing a hand to his chest, he gasped as though offended. “I’ll have you know, I’m an excellent lead. I’d never let you look bad.”

“Not happening.” Her silky black hair swished back and forth as she shook her head.

“All right, that’s it.” He gripped her shoulders and steered her toward her bed. “Sit that sexy ass down. You’re about to get your first dance lesson.”

As she sank down to the edge of the bed, she rolled her eyes. “My first dance lesson isn’t going to be a lap dance, is it?”

Oh, this girl just did it for him. Her particular brand of sass, sweetness, innocence, and curiosity drove him wild. “It sure as fuck is, baby. It sure as fuck is. Want you to be able to feel it as well as see it.”

“Oh, Jesus.”

Laughing hard, he dug his phone out of his pocket, pulled up his current favorite playlist, and hit play. This was gonna be a fucking trip.

Two seconds later, a heavy hip-hop base beat filled the room.

Mak’s jaw dropped into the most adorable face of disbelief. “Please tell me this isn’t—oh, my God it is. It’s WAP.” She buried her face in her hands.

Too funny. “I’m shocked you even know this song.”

“I live with an eighteen-year-old boy. I know this song.”

Thunder moved so he stood directly in her line of sight—or he would have been were she not hiding behind her hands. “All right. Step one, loosen up.”

Mak snorted.

“A few drinks will help with this. Close your eyes and let your body feel the beat. Let it take on the rhythm of the music.” He demonstrated as he spoke, softening his knees and beginning to bounce with the beat. For him, it came as naturally as breathing. As though the pumping of his blood changed to match the pulse of the music. When he opened his eyes, Mak had her fingers spread and peeked through the openings. He had to bite his lower lip to keep from smirking.

“Next, hips. You got some sexy ones, baby, and they’re gonna drive the train here. Move them first, and follow with the rest of your body.” He gave her a sexy example of a body roll, making sure to add an extra pump of his hips at the end.
