Returning to Her Master

“You’re not worried about rushing her?”

Jack knew him well and Marc had confided in him about his remorse over moving too fast with Cassie the last time, how the way she freaked out and the betrayed look in her blue eyes preyed on him.

“A little, but this time is different. She’s older, more experienced, and nothing we do or she sees will be a surprise. This time she’ll have no excuse to bolt, at least not out of fear of betrayal.”

“So, you have no plans to share her?”

There was no way he could suppress the need to see her pleasured by two men. She was so sexy and so open with her sexuality now that just thinking of the ways he and another man could bring her pleasure made him hard. “I didn’t say that, but this time she’ll at least have a forewarning.”

As they entered their loft they heard giggling coming from the kitchen where the girls were finishing the dinner dishes. “They get on well,” Jack murmured, pleased Morgan had found a close friend.

“And they’ll keep us on our toes if the hot tub incident is anything to go by,” Marc returned with dry humor.

“That pleases you as much as it does me.”

Cassie squealed in surprise when Marc’s arms circled her from behind, startling her. “Sorry, darlin’. I thought you heard me come in.”

She could tell from his tone he wasn’t sorry at all. She and Morgan had been joking around and she hadn’t noticed their return.

“Let me go, you big oaf.” She smiled at him over her shoulder. “If you want me to join you downstairs I need to finish these dishes and take a shower.” He made a show of sniffi

ng her neck, making her laugh.

“Mmm, you smell good, like sugar and cinnamon.”

“Exactly. I smell like a bakery and sweat,” she returned, wrinkling her nose.

“You smell sweet and I happen to like sweet, but I’ll let you go for now since I want nothing to ruin my plans for you tonight.”

“You’re not going to tell me anything, are you?”

“No, but trust me, you’ll enjoy yourself.”

Turning in his arms, she looped her soapy hands around his neck. “I do, Marc. Trust you, that is. I want you to know that. I’m not that naïve newbie anymore who didn’t know a good thing when I had it.”

Marc kissed her, wanting to believe her. “Finish your chores, girl, then meet me downstairs. I have to get back down there to greet our guests. I put one of my shirts on the bed. Wear that and nothing else.”

She watched him leave, well aware he hadn’t responded to her statement.

“I wore nothing but Jack’s shirt the first week I was here. Why does wearing a guy’s shirt feel more intimate, sexier than a sheer nightie he gave you?”

From Morgan’s sympathetic look, Cassie knew she hadn’t concealed her worry over his lack of a response. “Maybe because the last place it had been was next to their skin, the same place we want to be.”

“I hadn’t thought of that, but I think you’re onto something there. Let’s go get ready and see what our guys have planned for us tonight.”

An hour later, she followed Morgan downstairs, the tantalizing brush of Marc’s silk shirt against her nipples and bare butt heightening her already overwrought senses. It smelled like him, masculine and warm, and made her feel closer to him. The loud beat of classic rock didn’t disguise the sounds of play already in progress when they reached the door to the clubroom. She relaxed when she saw just a small group gathered for tonight. The fewer people, the less distraction for her and the more she could concentrate on pleasing Marc. She remembered him telling her the first night she met him she would know she was truly submissive when she derived her deepest desire from pleasing him. She knew now what he meant.

“Do you know everyone?” she asked Morgan as they made their way to the bar where Jack waved them over.

“I recognize most of them, but I’m awful with names. It’s easier to just smile and say ‘How are you?’”

Cassie moved to hop on a barstool when hard hands grabbed her waist and boosted her up. “There you go, darlin’,” Marc said, leaning a muscled arm on the bar, a small smile tugging at his lips.

Dressed in tight jeans and body-sculpting black tee shirt with the lodge’s logo in the corner, he looked at her out of assessing green eyes.

“You look good in my shirt.”
