Catching Him (How to Catch an Alpha 1)

He unsnaps the buttons of his jeans and drags them down over his hips. His erection springs free, bouncing against his stomach, and my pulse quickens. He puts one knee on the bed and then the other while wrapping his hand around his length, and I spread my legs for him. He slides the tip up and down through my folds before he slides deep in one long stroke.

“Yes.” I hold on to his waist and lift my thighs, pressing them into his sides as he slides out, then back in. “Harder,” I beg, lifting my mouth to his. “Fuck me harder.”

With a growl, he gives me what I want and moves his hips harder and faster. I press my head back into the pillow and swivel my hips with each and every stroke.

“Tyler.” I know it’s coming. I feel the pull in my belly and know it’s not going to take much more to send me over the edge.

“Not yet.” He sits back, then rolls, and I settle on top of him with his hard cock still buried deep and his big hands on my ass. “Ride me,” he orders, thrusting his hips up into mine. “Hard and fast, baby.”

I lower my mouth to his as I lift my hips, then fall down on his length. The sound of our flesh meeting fills the air, along with our heavy breathing. Wrapping his hand in my hair, he arches me away from him and leans up, capturing one of my breasts in his hot mouth. I moan, and my hips buck hard against his as he moves from one breast to the other while holding me in place, keeping me where he wants me.

“Tyler, please.” I grab hold of his shoulders as he tugs hard on my nipple, sending a bolt of electric shock right to my clit. He lets go of my hair, then releases my nipple, taking my hips in both his hands. He lifts me up and slams me down over and over, so hard my breath catches. My name leaves his mouth on a loud roar, and my pussy ripples as I orgasm hard, feeling him come deep inside me. I fall against his chest, and his arms wrap around me, his chin settling in the crook of my neck.

We stay like that for a long time, our skin damp, our hearts pounding, our breathing labored. Only when I shiver does he move. He lies back with me still against his chest and pulls the blanket from the end of the bed up over my back. “I love you,” he says.

“I love you too.” I tip my head back to see his face.

“How about we shower? Then I want to take you into town to one of my favorite restaurants for dinner.”

“Is it a dress-up kind of restaurant?” I question, not really in the mood to move, much less get dressed up to go out to dinner.

“Nope.” He smiles. “You’ll like it. They’ve got nothing but hamburgers, fries, and beer on the menu. And the burgers are better than anything else you’ve ever eaten.”

“You know the way to my heart.” I smile, pulling my hand from the blanket so I can touch his jaw. Running my fingers along the slight scruff, I say softly, “I should call Grams and Noah to check on Mouse and Bruce.”

“It was cool of Noah to keep him for me.”

“He likes you, and the boys love Bruce. It’s not a big deal,” I reply.

He rolls me to my back, sliding out of me, and then covers my mouth with his before pulling back. “You can call them after we shower.”

I’m unable to respond, because he covers my mouth once more.

“Thanks again for looking after Bruce, and tell the boys and Angie I love them,” I say to my brother Noah as I stand in front of the bathroom mirror in nothing but one of Tyler’s flannel shirts I haphazardly buttoned up and my panties.

“I will. Love you, sis. Have fun.”

“Love you too.” I hang up with him as Tyler comes out of the shower, wrapping a towel around his waist.

“Everything okay with Bruce?” he asks, coming to stand at the sink next to me and loading a toothbrush with paste.

“Noah said Bruce is doing great and that even Angie, who’s never really wanted a dog, adores him and is now begging him to get a puppy for the boys for Christmas.” He grins at that. “So I guess the boys will be getting a puppy.”

“He loves his wife and his boys, so that’d be my guess too.”

“Yeah.” I look away from him so I can dial Grams. I put the call on speaker and listen to it ring while I dig out my mascara from my makeup bag.

“Sugar.” I hear the smile in Grams’s voice. “Your mom and I were just talking about you. How’d things go with Tyler’s family?” she asks, and I pause with my mascara wand an inch from my lashes. I glance at Tyler, who’s still standing next to me in nothing but a towel, brushing his teeth and listening to the conversation.
