Tony said, “Jada Pinkett, she’s skinny and got an ass like a white girl.”

“Oh my God.” Jasmine laughed at Tony and covered her mouth.

“Definitely you look more like Mya than Jada Pinkett,” Tony said, chuckling. “But, to answer your question, today is Tuesday. I can have the car completed and ready for you by Saturday afternoon. Would that work?”

“OK. Yeah, that’s not bad.”

Tony paused and kept quiet and waited to see if anyone had any more questions, and since we didn’t, he led us back inside and filled out paperwork that he had Jasmine sign.

When they were done with the paperwork, I reached into my pants pocket and pulled out a huge wad of cash. I always walked with fifteen to twenty grand in my pocket. I counted out twenty hundred-dollar bills and laid them out on the table. I hadn’t even fucked Jasmine yet and I was personally giving her money, but it didn’t matter though because, at the end of the day, it was just money. It was more where that came from so I wasn’t stressing it like that.

“This guy couldn’t wear those tight skinny jeans if he wanted to. All his cash wouldn’t fit.” Tony laughed as he scooped up the money off his desk and recounted it.

“Baggy jeans all day every day for me. I won’t ever be on that skinny jeans gay shit.”

I gave Tony a pound and thanked him for looking out for me and told him I would hit him up later, and then me and Jasmine left and headed toward my car.

“So whatchu doing for the rest of the day?” I asked as Henry held open the rear driver’s side door for me. I instructed Jasmine to get in, which she did. Henry closed the door behind her, and then he walked around and opened the rear passenger door, and I got in and sat down.

“I’m just gonna chill. I don’t have nothing specific to do. I already decided to skip my classes,” Jasmine responded as the driver closed my door and made his way to the driver’s seat.

I got my driver’s attention and instructed him to take us to Benihana’s on Northern Boulevard. He nodded his head, and we pulled off.

It was December, so it was way too cold for convertible drop-top flossing, but if the weather was warm, I would have really blown Jasmine’s mind by removing only the rear top and leaving in place the top for the front half where the driver was.

“My bad,” I said. “I didn’t even ask you if you wanted to go get something to eat.”

“Yeah, definitely, and thank you,” Jasmine immediately and eagerly responded.

“So how old are you?”

“I’m nineteen, and my birthday is next Saturday.”

“So you’ll be twenty?”

Jasmine nodded her head yes, and then it was like she wanted to purposely change the subject to anything but her age.

“This car is so comfortable, I could live back here, it’s so roomy. I love it.”

We continued to have more small talk until we reached the restaurant, which was a twenty-minute ride from the body shop.

“Chill,” I said to Jasmine as I touched her leg. “The driver will come open the door for you then you can get out.”

Jasmine followed my directions and didn’t make a move to step out of the car until her door was opened for her. The same was done for me, and then we made our way inside the restaurant and were seated by the hostess.

We both took off our coats, so we could make ourselves more comfortable. The way the restaurant was set up, it was sort of like a large square table with a grill in the middle where a Japanese chef would cook and prepare the meal right in front of the diners.

So that I wouldn’t be sitting too far away from Jasmine, I decided to sit right next to her instead of across from her. “You ever been here before?” I asked.

Jasmine shook her head no.

“Do you trust me to order for you?”

“OK,” Jasmine said with a smile.

I ordered filet mignon and hibachi chicken for me, and hibachi steak and hibachi shrimp for Jasmine, and I ordered spicy tuna rolls. For drinks, I ordered sake for both of us.

The drinks were the first thing to arrive. Jasmine had never drank sake, and I was surprised that she liked it.
