His on Demand

A sigh comes out of him, I move fast to slide my hands back around to his chest. “It was Agatha’s doing. From as young as I could remember, she was violent. When I was around six, she got carried away with the belt. There was no hiding it from my brother, he told her if she did not stop he would see to it I was taken away. I never admitted to him it was more than that one time. She stopped with the belt and punished me in other ways until he died. When he died the reigns were off and several times she...”

I shake my head, horror at what he’s left unsaid churning within me.

“It did not last long, within two years I was bigger than her, and she never made the mistake of raising her hand to me again.”

Damn it, I can’t stop the tears that fall onto his bare shoulder. “No tears, sweetness, it was a long time ago.” He nuzzles my neck, kissing lightly as a hand slides down over my ass. A gentle tug of the plug has me grinding against his cock. “Hmm...I am glad you like it, this bodes well for my plans for your luscious, sweet ass.” Now I’m trembling. “No fear, sweetness, when the time comes you will beg for my cock in your ass.”

I sigh as his mouth roams down my neck and over my breasts. He loves my breasts his attention approaches reverence every time. Gentle sucking becomes nibbles then deeper, and his mouth is greedy now. Oh, I feel him thickening inside me. “Leo, let’s go to bed.”

“As you wish.” He stands with me in his arms, I wrap my legs tight around his waist. Slowly, he carries me into the bedroom.

Alexa

I’m sipping my coffee hoping it will wake me up. It’s ten till seven, but I’ve been up for hours. I was woken up at five in the morning by a call from Renee Sutherland with the assurance from Leo I’d be happy to have her call me at five, apparently. Swaying off the bed, still half asleep, I made my way to my laptop and did a search. Shit. She’s huge, the kind of agent writers would make a deal with the devil to have. I’ve already made my deal, it’s loving Leo while he’s still trying to figure out if he can ever forgive me.

Renee is set to fly in from New York on Friday so we can meet, and she can attend the book party. After I confirmed the time and stumbled back toward my bed, I was stopped by another call.

His name is Miguel, and he talks at a rate of a thousand words a minute. He’s my publicist. I’ll be getting an email from someone from Entertainment Weekly for a spotlight on my newest release. I’ll also be getting a call from a reporter for an interview for USA Today. It was almost an hour later before Miguel lets me hang up and I was well and truly awake.

I’m feeling overwhelmed by all the plotting Miguel took me through on a plan to, as he said, take me to the next level. He was astonished I don’t have a website or a Facebook page. He’ll take care of it.

I can’t believe everything Leo has set in motion. It’s amazing, I feel overwhelmed by how much he cares. It doesn’t mean I’m not still pissed at him. When the elevator opens I fight not to chuck my stapler at it. The bastard had done it again. Okay, he waited until I started falling asleep, but it doesn’t change the fact he fucked me until I couldn’t move, then got up and left.

“My office, now.”

I’m such a slut. I hope no one can see the way I run after him, my body already wet with anticipation. He’s in a dark blue suit today that outlines his body lovingly. I close the door with a smile.

Leo shakes his head then nods to the chair in front of his desk. “Sit.”

What the hell? I wonder even as I don’t dare not follow instructions.

“Behave, that will come later.”

Fucker.

“Do not start, Alexa, or there will not be a later. I will leave you wet and wanting.”

Outrage flows through me. I’m so glad there’s nothing close enough to throw at him when he laughs.

“Enough. Why have you not completed the interview questions for Entertainment Weekly?”

Of course, he knows. “I got the email an hour and a half ago. I was looking over the questions when you came in.”

Leo sips his coffee then gives that happy sigh as it flows down him. Pride fills me to know I did that for him. “Fine, you will do them this morning. Talk to Jenny to fill in for you for the day. You have an appointment at two this afternoon for a photo shoot. You will need photos for the Entertainment Weekly and USA Today interviews, your website, and the next print run of your book. Right now, Miguel is circling interviews for Bustle and Glamour magazine. He is sure if you end the week on the bestseller list you will get the interviews for both.”

“Are you serious?”

“Why would I not be?”

“Because I’m nobody. I didn’t realize you could get me that kind of exposure.”

Black eyes glint with anger. “I did not get you anything. Miguel has connections to the right people. My name was never a factor in the discussions about you. That said, if those outlets did not see something in your work, then nothing he said would matter. Your books deserve recognition, you have the reviews from readers that prove that. The Guardian article went a long way, if you want to assign responsibility do it to the writer of the article, Duncan Reilly.”

I shrug, embarrassed at jumping to conclusions. “Sorry. A photo shoot? Do you really think it’s necessary?”

“Yes, it’s necessary. Apparently, it’s necessary for me to make sure you follow instructions. Go back to your desk and cancel everything I have today. Answer the interview questions then shut down for the day. When you are done we leave.”
