Accidental Meeting (Accidental Hook-Up 3)
“Right, so you clearly don’t want to go more into that, so why don’t you tell me more about you?”
I nod my head hard, anger racing through me. “What do you want to know?”
“Tell me about your family. Your parents, I don’t know, anything.”
“You want to know about my parents? That’s crazy. We only fooled around twice.”
“Yeah, I get that. I’m not trying to march you down the aisle or anything…”
“So, why do you care?” I throw my hands up in the air in frustration. “What does it matter?”
“Because… because…” She’s lost for words. Good, if she doesn’t have anything left to say then maybe we can just go past this and get back to where me and her are good. “Because I can’t stop thinking about you.”
Fuck. That puts both of us on edge. We fall into a very uncomfortable silence. I can’t stop thinking about her either, so I know that feeling, but the way that she just said it so honestly has blown me away.
“I’m sorry.” She leaps up from her seat and moves to leave. “I shouldn’t be here; this is crazy…”
I should let her go, I know that. I should just take a step back and let her leave me here but something stops me. My hand reaches out and curls around her arm, keeping her in place. Her eyes widen, she gives me a desperate pleading look, but she doesn’t yank away from me. She remains exactly where she is, with me.
She doesn’t know who I am. She really wants to know but she has no idea. Yet, she’s still here.
“Shane, I…” she starts, but the words fall apart on her lips.
“Tia…” Nope, I can’t seem to finish my sentence either. There are no words. Unsaid things circle between us, floating through the air, binding us even tighter than if I had just told her everything.
Instead of saying even another word, I yank her to me so close that our noses are almost touching. She’s above me because she’s standing and I’m sitting, so she’s looking down on me. From this angle she is absolutely stunning. All I want to do is kiss her, but for the moment we simply stare at one another, panting desperately.
“What are we doing?” Tia asks quietly before her lips cascade with mine. Her plump, delicious lips which taste fruity, a bit like strawberry. I want to lick her mouth all over because of this.
Yep, I’m definitely not done, I think as my heart explodes. Every cell in my body bursts into flames. I circle my arms tighter around her waist and fix her between my legs. I don’t even care that we’re in public, that this is so inappropriate, I just want to consume her right here and now. I want to peel her clothing off and take her here in the bar. I could take her to the bathroom if she hadn’t just told me that she’s too precious to be treated badly.
“Come with me,” I rasp to her as we break apart ever so slightly. “Let’s get out of here.”
“I kinda have to.” She chuckles and runs her fingers through my hair. “I don’t think they’ll let me stay much longer. The guy already doesn’t want me here since I’m the woman who doesn’t pay the bar bill.”
I laugh and take her hand. “Okay, well I’m done here, so I’m happy to get the hell out of here.”
I push through the crowds, my heart racing at a million miles an hour, and we head for the door. This woman is too damn close to me, she’s pushing my barriers far too hard for my liking, so why the hell am I leaving with her? Why am I not telling her to get the hell out of here? To keep my life as simple and straight forward as it’s always been before. That would be the smart thing to do, but sensibility has long evaded me.
What the fuck am I doing? Risking absolutely everything…
Chapter Nine – Tia
This isn’t going to plan. This isn’t what I came to the bar for, I’m supposed to be getting answers. I could argue that I can still do that, I can still get the answers that I so desperately need, but me and Shane - who apparently is called Shane Valentine despite all of my reservations - have kissed now. There is only one way this will head, and my brain is completely consumed by a foggy lust. I can’t think straight however much I want to.
My pussy is pounding, my thighs trembling, my lips bruised with passion already. I’m in a mess, and I’m sure that’s only going to get worse the more time I spend in Shane’s presence. Rae would probably be ashamed of me, as well as my friends from home. She would kick my ass for being so weak, but I can’t seem to help myself.
