Axel moved up behind her. Even though he was wearing clothes, there was no mistaking the arousal there. He pressed against her ass, and she paused.

“One day soon, Harper, you’re going to be fucking us. You should hope to keep us entertained because you’re going to be using that cunt to save your life.”

With that, she watched as both men left the room. Draven wore a robe while she was still naked.

“You can’t keep me here against my will,” she said, hoping to reason with them.

Draven stopped at the door, staring at her. “You shouldn’t have run away.”

“Draven, didn’t your dad tell you anything?” she asked.

“He told me how you tried to blackmail him. How you wanted out of Stonewall. Away from all four of us. He told me about the ten grand you had. The secrets you were willing to spill to get away from us and how you ran into the enemy’s arms.”

Each accusation was thrown back at her, cutting her like a blade.

No! No! This isn’t fair. This isn’t fucking fair!

Alan had blackmailed her.

He’d put Draven’s life in danger, and she’d seen it with her own two eyes.

“You’re wrong. Draven, I swear, he lied.”

“Well, it’s not like I can ask him if your version of whatever happened is true or not. You were gone, and I told you to come to me when you were going to run.”

“Draven, I swear to you I would have—”

“I don’t need to hear any more lies.”

“Damn it, Draven, listen to me.”

He closed the door, and she heard the lock.

“Open the fucking door. You bastard. Cowardly fucks! Where’s Jett? Where’s Buck? You can’t keep me here forever. How dare you?”

Anger hit her hard, and she tried to get the cuffs off, crying out as she tore at the skin. Tears spilled from her eyes, and she screamed. Grabbing the lamp nearest her, she launched it across the room. It hit the wall. She opened the drawer and emptied it out, throwing everything she had in her grasp.

Some items hit the wall, others hit the door, and most of them fell in a path, until she had nothing else to throw.

She collapsed on the bed, ass in the air, exhausted.

She couldn’t get comfortable, not with her hand tied above her.

Sobbing into the pillow, she couldn’t believe that Draven trusted his father over her. Yes, she’d run, but part of her had hoped he’d find her. He’d asked her to never run, but didn’t he at least doubt Alan? She’d been with him for so long, and she belonged to him. He took her virginity, and she gave him everything. She really had hoped he’d come. When he hadn’t, she’d lost hope. Alan still made his demands. No matter where she went, he was there, close by. If she didn’t do as he told her, Draven, Axel, Buck, and Jett were the pawns he used. She had run from Stonewall, but she’d not been free. Alan had used her as a puppet. Wherever he wanted her, she had no choice but to go. He’d sent her to Europe to do his bidding, and she tried to run so many times, but Alan always found her. She worked every single day just to afford rent and food to try to get away. Nothing helped until one day, five years ago, he simply stopped calling, and eventually even his men on her disappeared. By then, it had been too long, and she’d tried to move on, always afraid he was watching her, waiting for her to fuck up.

Her life had become nothing more than survival.

Now Draven was intent on killing her, and it wasn’t fair. It wasn’t fucking fair. None of it.

No matter what they did, she wouldn’t break.

She was stronger than this.

She’d fight, and she would win.

Chapter Five

“It has been three days,” Axel said.

Draven looked up from his paper to his friend. “And?”

“You’re not going to talk to her? Bring her down here?”

“Are you wanting to fuck her, is that it? Go in, use her, you might as well.”

“Draven, look at me.”

He lifted his head up and stared at the only person in his life who he’d ever let talk to him like that, even as his hand twitched to touch Jett’s knife and kill him.

“What, Axel? Do you need my permission now? Okay, I give you my blessing to go and fuck the whore.”

“You know for a fact she was more yours than ours.”

Draven threw down the paper. “What do you want me to do right now? If I put my hands on her, I’ll take her to the fucking whipping post that hasn’t been used since your father was in power here. I will make her bleed.”

“You don’t want to?” Axel asked.

“I want to, Axel. That’s the point. I want to hurt her until I hear her beg me to stop. That ink on her back, the one that says our names, I want to take this knife.” He pulled out Jett’s blade. “And slice the skin right off so she knows just what she did. I’ve got no problem with you taking your pound of flesh. You knew the moment you brought her here, her days were numbered.”
