“Damn.” He panted breathlessly, still trying to recover.

“Oh my God, that was intense. I don’t think I’ll ever catch my breath,” Thane gasped against his lips.

A small towel Levi hadn’t even known was there landed on his chest before Thane reached underneath himself to hold the condom in place before lifting off him. He dropped to the office floor and rolled to his back, his chest heaving with every breath. Levi pulled the condom off and tied the end before tossing it into the trash can beside Julian’s desk. He started to stand as he wiped the cloth up his chest, but he didn’t have the energy. His legs were like spaghetti noodles, so he slid down on the floor to join Thane.

“There’s no chance we could go pick up your brothers and you all stay at my place this weekend, is there?” Thane said, trailing his fingertips up and down Levi’s arm. As far as Thane was concerned, the uncomfortable floor of this office and the ache he was sure to have in his back tomorrow were worth every bit of discomfort if it meant Levi stayed here with him a little longer.

Levi had tried twice to get up. Thane was sure his guy worried about being in the office of the club. When he started to speak, Thane stopped him by placing two fingers on his lips.

“Shh, don’t say no. Not yet. I’ve never felt like this. I didn’t believe this was possible. You’re so hardheaded you challenge me. I’ve never met anyone like you before.” Thane craned his neck and brushed his fingers under Levi’s chin, lifting Levi’s face to look him in the eyes. “To me, you’re so much more than what the label boyfriend represents, but you are my boyfriend. Got it?”

“That was a strange pairing of sentences.”

Thane chuckled and dropped his head back to the floor. Levi never gave him an inch. Not ever and his arms tightened around his mister.

“Doesn’t surprise me. I was telling Julian you have me all jacked up. I can’t think straight.” Thane scrubbed a hand down his face. “I’m making mistakes all the time. I’m dropping my balls. I never drop my balls,” Thane said, feeling his inner Beavis snickering at the reference.

“I’ll catch your balls.” Levi smirked, crawling up his body to press a kiss on his lips, looking down on him as he spoke. “The boyfriend thing makes me oddly secure.”

Thane lifted a hand, caressing Levi’s cheek. Levi was so solid, so much in control of himself, that it always surprised Thane to hear words like insecure and nervous come from his guy’s mouth. “You’re all I see, Levi. It’s been that way for months now, probably since the first night I laid eyes on you,” Thane confessed. “It’s only growing stronger for me.”

Levi bent, kissing Thane’s lips. “Just tell me when you’re done. You don’t have to worry about me, just always be honest about us.” Levi’s hand came to his cheek, and his thumb traced his bottom lip.

“I wish you were staying the night. I like it when you stay with me.”

“Linda’s with Logan and Luke tonight. I can stay.”

Thane lifted, dislodging Levi as he judged the sincerity of Levi’s words. Within seconds, he was reaching for his pants.

“You didn’t tell me,” Thane said, grabbing Levi’s backpack, tossing it to him as he rose to stick one foot inside the leg of his slacks.

“You didn’t ask. You were just mad I had to work,” Levi explained, laughing as Thane stumbled while balancing on one foot. Those words immediately fired up his need to argue until Thane stopped while tugging his shirt on. Levi was right. He’d just accused, nothing more.

“I’ll cook for us. That was my original plan for the evening. I got the stuff for the enchiladas you liked so much…”

“You said we were going to dinner with Arik and Kellus.” This time Levi stopped and stared at him midway through pulling on his shorts.

“Yeah, about that. They did ask us out to dinner, but I didn’t accept…” Thane hesitated, trying to give an apologetic look.

“You’re sneaky,” Levi said, pointing a finger in Thane’s face.

“No, I’m desperate. There’s a difference.” Thane tugged his shirt over his head. “What time are they coming tomorrow?” Thane asked, calculating how much time they would have alone and all the things he could do during that time. The weekend was a big celebration, and one Thane was extremely pleased to be included in. It was Luke’s and Logan’s birthday celebration. Both had birthdays in the next few days. Thane’s gifts to them were new cell phones. Luke’s first ever cell phone and they had also been given tickets to a concert festival the resort was hosting.

“Ten tomorrow. They’re on cloud nine, telling everyone they’re going.” Thane stared at Levi’s hands as they worked the front buttons of his shirt. Even such a simple act as sharing time with Levi while he dressed seemed to bring Thane joy. He was so hopelessly in love. The love never faded, only grew in intensity until nothing else mattered. He couldn’t imagine a life without Levi.
