I only half meant it, of course. When none of them answered their phones, I had an idea what they were doing. I’d spent the rest of the evening wracked with fear, and worry, and guilt.

Now, as all three of them jumped down from their trucks — totally whole and with no missing parts — I was overjoyed with relief.

“Is… Is it—”

“It’s done,” Chase said, scooping me into his arms. He planted such a big kiss on my lips, I could feel his energy flowing into my body. There was pure happiness in his eyes. The adrenaline of success mixed with relief.

Thank God…

Chase practically carried me back into the keep, with Julian and Noah leading the way. Together they ransacked the kitchen. Whipped up a bunch of leftovers, and heated them up while they told me everything that happened.

One very makeshift meal later, I was caught up on the night’s events. I was grateful for Noah, and Julian, and especially for his friends. They’d done work with him in the past, and it was a testament to Julian that they’d come along in such dangerous circumstances.

I was even more thrilled when they laid the money back on the table. All sixteen hundred pounds of it — every last penny we could muster on such short notice.

“I thought we were offering this to Killian?” I asked, extremely happy they hadn’t. “In exchange to let it all go?”

Julian folded his arms and shook his head. “He’s letting it go anyway,” he said.

“Yeah,” Noah agreed, with a deep chuckle. “Trust us.”

I hugged them again, and again after that. In time, I found myself being pulled into their laps. I was kissed and tickled and made happier and happier, as the four of us joked and laughed and — for once, at least — enjoyed the taste of victory.

When the plates were cleared, Chase pulled a fresh round of beers from the fridge. He twisted the caps off and passed them around.

“So… we’re celebrating?” I asked.

Four glass bottles clinked together. The guys drank theirs in one long, multi-gulp swig, that amounted to almost half a bottle each.

“Fuck yeah we’re celebrating,” Chase smiled at last.

I felt a rush of excitement in my belly. Among other areas.

“Good,” I smiled, letting my voice drop into my lower, more seductive range. “I was hoping you’d say that.”

I stood up slowly and bent to kiss each of them, one by one. They were long, lingering kisses. Hot and wet and full of promise, while the others looked on in silence.

Mmmmm…

I did Julian… then Noah… then finally Chase. Each of my men tasted different. Each had their own scent, their own feel, their own style. Making out with them in a little triangle, as their hands roamed my body, I felt incredibly lucky. Totally blessed.

By the time I finished I was dizzy… and utterly drenched.

“Give me ten minutes,” I said, as I sauntered away. “Then come up to my bedroom.”

Fifty-Six

MADISON

It was an outfit I’d picked up last time I was in town. An outfit I’d been saving for a very special occasion, and I’d decided this was it.

I stopped once more to look at myself in the full length mirror. By the warm light of the red candles I’d placed strategically around my bedroom, I looked absolutely ravishing.

And ravageable.

Holy shit, Madison.

In short, I was dressed like a complete and total slut. Spiked high-heels. Long, fishnet stockings that ended mid-thigh. A pair of double-strung garters connected to a black lace garter belt, slung high up on my naked hips. The panties between my legs were almost non-existent: a blue satin G-string so thin and wispy, it was more like a piece of floss.
