Sexual Healing (Contemporary Cowboys 1)
His loving didn’t stop there. He kissed her clit and rose over her, unfinished and far from satisfied. “Are you on the pill?”
“Yes, Sir.”
“Do you take it like you’re supposed to?”
“Yes, Sir.”
Without another word exchanged between them, he threw his weight forward and pounded inside her, stroking her pussy with hard and uneven beats, pushing high and short-fucking her one minute, long-thrusting her the next. He throttled her with his cock, hammering out his lust, fighting her for control as she locked her legs around his hips and just enjoyed the hell out of him.
His face was at her breasts and he licked her nipples, trailing a kiss up her neck and across her face before coming to her lips. He then took her lips and body in time, stroking and kissing, fucking and thrusting.
Together they enjoyed an explosive end, crying out one another’s names and fucking until they couldn’t move, let alone come again.
Chapter Nineteen
The knock came at 2:00 a.m. and things were pretty quiet except for the racket coming from the McKay bedroom. Aspen shot Jax a quick smile when they each left their bedrooms and met in the hallway with their pistols drawn. Even with company on the doorstep and as a guest in the Jackson house, Vicky didn’t keep the noise level down. When the woman cried out, she practically sang at the top of her lungs and there wasn’t a doubt in the world. She and the older McKay were fucking like teenagers.
Hell, they were bringing down the damn walls.
“Joshua got a call from Kane. The Feds made it to Brianna’s place. We’re probably in good shape, too.” He nodded at Tyler and Flint who were walking up the back stairs about the time they’d reached the foyer. Flint peered out the oblong window next to the front door. “He flashed his badge. It’s them.”
He’d just thrown the lock and unchained the door when Jax moved aside the sheer curtain, peering outside as well. That’s when he noticed the chrome wheels on the SUV parked under the carport. “Hang on!”
But it was too late. The door was already opened. The fellows traipsed right on in, busting their way through with guns drawn.
“Where is she?” Handsome pivoted to the left. The other fellows quickly scattered and one of them shot off a couple of rounds.
Aspen fired off the first shot from the home team. Tyler managed three or four. The place was total chaos as a few other guys rushed the house. They were the new syndicate’s fellows and looked their part. They were mafia, mob guys, an outfit, whatever the hell someone wanted to call them.
Shots continued to ring out as Tyler, Flint, and Jax fought desperately to defend their home, leading the battle away from the front steps. A big fellow dove from a chair and tackled Jax. They threw punches, rolled under the dining room table, threw another round of punches and then went for Jax’s gun.
Jax won. He clutched the gun in his hand, praying for the Feds. He didn’t want to fire a killer’s shot. He didn’t want to end a person’s life. Still he wanted to protect his home, his woman…
Pow! Pow! Pow!
Tyler put the guy down like a rabid dog. He then grabbed Jax and pulled him out from under the table. “Don’t hesitate again. It could cost you your life. Now go! Get upstairs and cover Brianna!”
Jax ran through th
e kitchen, deserting the others in order to save Brianna. He leapt over a bench, one that must’ve toppled over when some of the perpetrators approached from the back.
He took the back stairs three at a time, in a panic, worried about Brianna, frightened of what he’d find. He sprinted down the second floor hallway. Releasing a hard breath as soon as he saw her room, he tried to regain some semblance of his composure. He didn’t want to scare her. He refused to let her see him sweat.
“Brianna!” His heart raced as he searched the empty room. “Brianna!” He couldn’t find her anywhere.
Remembering Joshua and Vicky had been in the guest room next door, he fled the bedroom and stalled at the doorway. In the distance, he heard Joshua’s voice. “You can’t have her. Now me? We can negotiate the terms for me, but you’re not taking her.”
“Where is she?” The guy demanded. “I’ll put a bullet in your woman if you don’t tell me where Brianna is!”
“Guy, I don’t know what kind of beef you have with Brianna’s father, but I can tell you right now the kind of beef you have with me is not one you’ll soon forget.”
Jax kept his back to the wall, his finger on the trigger. Spotting Handsome in front of the guestroom, he crept along, taking one easy step at a time.
“You tell me where she is and we can all go home here.”
“Can’t do it, boy,” Joshua said, apparently trying to anger the guy. “You need to step away from the room.”
“Fuck you!” Handsome turned and when he did, he came to an abrupt halt. He and Jax were face to face, both of their weapons drawn, steady, and aimed with a direct target in sight.
