Taking the Thief

“Are all of the businesses also the resorts?”

“No, just the property and the main resort destinations. The island has many restaurants, stores, and even a movie theatre.”

“Wow, so there’s a lot to do here.”

“I don’t know of Ostrov. Is it full of fun things to do?”

“It’s about the same in concept. Restaurants and other activities outside of the resort space.”

“Do you spend a lot of time on Ostrov?”

“Since he’s only had it for a short time, and I’ve been in school, not as much as I want to be, but it’s a great place to hang out. But I suppose if you visited one beautiful island it’s not much different.”

“There’s always something to see. Do you feel like going out tonight or would you rather spend the day on the beach?”

“Can we go to the beach?”

“Well, we have to wait an hour to go swimming.”

“Good you can help me build a sandcastle and tell me more about you while we wait.”

“A sandcastle?” he asks. I love building them. I’ve made several sand sculptures on the island. Nothing too big, but it’s something I find entertaining.

“Yes, a princess always wants a castle,” I smirk, tipping my head, then standing up. “I have to get ready.” I dash off to the bedroom, but I can hear him on my heels. I squeal when his arms wrap around my waist, and he spins me around.

“I want my kiss before you get ready, princess.” He crushes our mouths together, melting my body to his. By the time he lets me go, I’m all flushed and giddy. I rummage through my suitcase and pull out a pair of shorts and top to go with the bikini I have.

“Stop staring at me and get ready. Mister, if you have any plans on having me live here, I will not always be completely covered, so don’t give me shit about my swimwear.”

“Damn, I find that temper sexy as fuck. Keep it up, and we won’t make it outside. Besides, I wasn’t going to say anything about the bikini. As long as your tits aren’t falling out then I’m good,” he replies, shrugging before heading to the closet.

Ten minutes later, we’re walking hand in hand down his private stairs. As we exit, I see a large wagon thing filled with plastic shovels and buckets. “Wow, how did you know?”

“We have them for the children on the beach or the professional sand sculptors that come and want to build. You can do what you like with them. I just made a call to bring over a cart full.”

“Thank you, Julian. This is perfect.”

“Now, how may I assist you?”

I go on to explain how to begin. He’s terrible at it. He accidentally crushed a side of the castle wall with one of his strong arms. “I’m sorry.”

“No, you’re okay. I don’t have to make a castle right now.”

“No, you can do it, and I can watch you work, muñeca.”

“You don’t have to stay here.”

“I know I don’t have to, but I want to. Trust me this is my first day off in at least a year. This is perfect, princesa.” He lays back on one of the plush beach chairs and stares at me. I blush, but I focus on my little art project instead. I look around and see that there are few people and they are at a fair distance. The closest people are still about twenty-five yards away. It’s a couple with two small children. I smile at them as they stare my way. As I work, I peek up at my lover, and he’s grinning at me, but then lowers his head to relax. Poor guy needs more time off.

When I look at the kids, they’ve seemed to edge their way closer. I wave at them. I’m sure that they are interested in the toys. They tug at their mom’s sarong and point. I don’t know where the dad went, but they are really trying to get her attention. She bends down and says something that I can’t hear, but they start to make their way over which is cool.

“Sorry to bother you, but they wanted to see what you’re doing,” she says anxiously. I can see that she’s got another baby baking in the oven, and she looks adorable in her one piece and matching sarong.

“No, I did wave them over. Are you looking for buckets?” I ask the boy and girl. They can’t be more than five years old, and they’re so adorable. “Please help yourself.”

“Thank you. I completely forgot to ask inside, and you can’t keep your eyes off them for a minute,” she remarks. I think about the fact that Julian and I may have made our own little family. It brings a smile to my face.

“I can only imagine.”

“Are you an artist?” she asks with her head facing the kids who have decided to plant themselves closer to Julian. They’re cute, making me want a brood of babies to enjoy this place.
