First Comes Love
“What do you want, Megan?” I shift gears, twirling a lock of her dark hair around my finger, bringing it to my nose and inhaling her scent while she watches me.
“To eat?” she stammers.
I shake my head. “No. What do you want out of this? Why are you here?”
She knows what I mean. And as much as I love flirting and messing with her, getting her all hot and bothered, I also want to get to know her better. I want her to see that I’m actually interested in more than just getting in her pants. I mean, I’ll be happy to do that, too. But I’m not a total douche. I can be a good guy when I want.
And for some reason, with Megan, I want to.
Well, to an extent. I also want to be really bad with her.
She looks down at her hands folded in her lap, then glances around the restaurant, presumably at the cameras, letting me know I’m about to get the canned response. “To be honest, Madden, I’m just looking for love.”
My eyes narrow slightly. Love. Huh. That’s an interesting angle she’s playing. But I know better after my little research session last night.
Then I grin again. “I can definitely show you some loving.”
She swats my arm, and I catch her wrist in my hand, bringing it up to my mouth. I flip it over and press my lips to the sensitive inner skin, scraping my teeth lightly over her wrist.
She shivers, and when she looks back up at me, her pupils are dilated.
Damn right, they are. Tristan may have the romantic angle down, but I know what this girl needs—someone like me to show her what it’s like to be desired.
“You look gorgeous tonight, Megan.” I finger the diamond necklace that I brought for her to wear. “This looks like it’s right where it belongs.”
She bites her lip. “Thank you. You aren’t too hard on the eyes yourself.”
I rear back with a groan, clutching my chest like I’m mortally wounded. “Not too hard on the eyes? You can do better than that, can’t you?”
r /> Megan shrugs, a teasing grin on her lips. “Maybe I like what I see.”
“You want to see more?” I wiggle my eyebrows.
She laughs. “You’re ridiculous.”
I tease her a bit more through dinner, giving the cameras what they want, and finally—fucking finally—they pack up and leave us alone.
As soon as they’re gone, I drop my hand to Megan’s bare thigh. “Do you have any idea how long I’ve been waiting to get you alone? Fuck, Megan, I’ve had my eye on you since the first day in the house. You’re so fucking sexy, so gorgeous. And your sassy attitude kind of does it for me.”
Now it’s her turn to taunt me. “Oh really? Like me telling you that I think you’re all bark and no bite?”
I lean in, sinking my teeth into her bare shoulder. “Believe me, I can definitely bite if that’s what you like.”
Her eyes flare with heat, and I wonder just how kinky this girl might be if she’d let herself go. I want to be the one to make her let go. To free her from whatever has kept her from enjoying the more pleasurable things in life.
“Ready for dessert?” I ask, my eyes twinkling.
She must remember my reference to dessert last night because her lips curve up in a sexy as fuck little smirk. “What do you have in mind?”
I wink at her. “I was thinking something warm and creamy.”
Megan
I lean back in the limo into the warmth of Madden’s arms. Dinner was amazing, even if he is absolutely crazy with his flirting. I can’t lie, though. I like it. He brings out a side of me that I didn’t know existed. Something a little wild and crazy. Different from the passion that Tristan evokes in me, but just as potent.
These two have me all tangled up. How is it possible to want two men at the same time? After being with Tristan all day, I thought it would be strange being with Madden tonight. But it wasn’t. I had just as much fun. Just in a different way.
Right now I feel totally relaxed. Probably because there aren’t any cameras in here to record us. I can just be myself.
