Liar

Oaklyn stopped chewing to give Aaron her full what-the-fuck stare. I didn’t blame her. He was such an idiot.

“I’d love to get in there,” Aaron continued, completely unaware of everyone’s annoyance at his presence. It was only a matter of moments before Kent’s death-glare finally dropped Aaron dead. “Maybe you could get your niece and her boyfriend in. Olivia and I could have a date.” He gave another wink and bobbed his eyebrows at me.

“Barf,” Oaklyn said.

“No,” Daniel and Kent said at the same time.

“You’re not my boyfriend,” I said over all of them.

“C’mon, Livvie,” Aaron tried to cajole.

“Just shut up, Aaron.”

“Okay, okay.” He held up his hands in surrender. “I know how it is.”

I glared, on the brink of punching him. This room was a mess getting worse by the second, and I needed a moment’s reprieve before I snapped. “I’ll be back.”

I darted my eyes across the table to Kent, who hadn’t taken his eyes off Aaron. Then, I chanced a look at Daniel, and a small part of me crumpled under his confused gaze. One eyebrow rose like he was asking me if this was who I really wanted in my life. I wanted to shout across the table that no, it wasn’t and beg him to forget this ever happened. Anything to get rid of the tinge of disappointment coloring the questioning look.

It was so minute, but enough to dig deep and make it hard to breathe—like a needle in my lungs. I needed to get out of that room. I needed a moment away from all the ways I could make Daniel disappointed in me at one tiny table.

As soon as I stood, Aaron cut in again with a new topic that had me freezing at the door.

“Aren’t you going to be speaking at our class, Mr. Kent? Just got the email today.”

I turned with wide eyes, but as soon as my gaze clashed with his, he looked away. “Yes. Professor Arden contacted me earlier this week.”

Part of me wanted to stay and ask more questions like, why hadn’t he told me. But my body urged me to get the fuck out of that room before I screamed.

I was washing my hands when the door opened.

His dark gaze pinned me in place through the mirror. My fingers dug into the cold marble of the sink when he pressed his front to my back, pushing my hips against the counter. He gripped my waist and leaned down to burrow his nose in my hair, inhaling deeply. Such a simple move that sent chills down my spine, igniting a fire between my thighs. I couldn’t help the moan that slipped free and the way I arched back, rubbing my ass against his growing erection.

“Do you know how hard it is?” I rubbed my ass against him again. “To watch that disgusting little prick act like he has a right to you?” His hand moved up past my breasts to wrap around my throat, fingering the silver chain. “To act like he has a right to what is mine.”

I waited until his gaze met mine.

“Yes. I would murder any woman who tried to touch you,” I admitted because it was the truth, and it was the least I could give him after that charade out there. “I’m sorry. I’m yours.”

His eyes flashed with regret before his hand moved to fist my hair. I gasped when he jerked hard enough to sting my scalp deliciously. I held still, letting him kiss his way up my neck to nip at my ear, all while he bunched my skirt up higher and higher to reach my pussy.

I tried to push back again, wanting to feel as much of him as possible, but he tugged my hair in reprimand, his hand burrowing in my panties to cup me.

“Mine,” he growled.

“All yours. Promise. All yours.”

My knees almost gave out when his finger slipped between my folds and played with my clit.

“Kent,” I whimpered. “Fuck me. Please.”

“Right here? In the bathroom?” he taunted, playing at my opening.

“Right here. Give it to me.”

Desperation had me releasing my fist from the counter, and reaching back to grip his shaft, stroking him hard, loving his grunt.

“Fuck, I missed you.”

I continued to stroke him, and he moved to divest me of my panties. They had just cleared my ass when the bathroom door flew open.

Oaklyn’s wide eyes met mine through the mirror before one eyebrow slowly rose into her hairline. She didn’t say anything as she made her way to the stall. “You may want to hurry up. Daniel is looking for you,” she said before disappearing behind the door.

Kent tugged my underwear back in place. “Later. Meet me here later.”

“Always,” I promised.

Part of me wanted to walk out of the bathroom with his hand in mine, but I knew today wasn’t the day.
