She is Mine: Steamy Instalove
“I insist,” he growls, “You’re clearly a bright girl. You can do better than this job, clearly. I want you to be able to focus on the life you’re making for yourself. You deserve that much.”
I blush, though I can’t figure out why. “Mr. Thompson...I have no idea how I can ever thank you for your offer.”
“Call me Chase,” he says. “And there’s no need to thank me. I’ve been in business a long time. I have more money than I need. I want to spend it on something worthwhile for once...and you’re perfect.”
My face is burning now. Did he really just call me perfect? I’ve never felt even close to perfect, but him saying it aloud almost makes me believe it. I look in his direction and catch him looking me up and down.
“I’ve never seen a woman as beautiful as you, Faith,” he growls. “You’re making it very hard for me to be so close to you.”
I gasp quietly. I had no idea I had such an effect on him. Is he feeling the way I’m feeling too? Unable to stop imagining how things would be if we stripped off our clothes now and made love right here on this bed? My skin tingles, but in the best possible way. It’s as though I can feel his touch on my skin even though we’re still torturously far apart, despite being inches away from one another. I just want him to grab me and kiss me. I want him to take control and throw me down on the bed. I want him to prove to me that this isn’t just a dream.
Though if it is, I never want to wake up.
Chase
This young woman has no idea how beautiful she is. I don’t think she has a clue how much I want to rip off her clothes and see her body in all its naked glory. She sits beside me nervously, right on the edge of the bed, clearly not knowing what to do with herself. If I’m intimidating her, that isn’t my intention. I want to bring her closer, not push her away.
I can barely believe the scenario which has brought the two of us together. If anyone else had been found sleeping in here, maybe I would’ve let Matt fire them. But this beautiful woman deserves better, I just know it.
And I want to give her the world.
“You know, I wasn’t expecting to be drinking with a beautiful woman tonight,” I tell her. “I came here to stay at the hotel because I’m doing business in the city. I live in San Francisco. I thought I’d check out my hotel while I was here. But the second I walked into the room and saw you...I felt like it was fate that I came here.”
She’s shaking a little. “You did?”
“Yes. I saw you and I felt like my whole life was leading up to that moment. I know how crazy I must sound but in that moment I realized that my life has been missing something all this time,” I growl. “I’ve always been alone. I’ve never been in a relationship with a woman before. Not that I didn’t have opportunities. I just never found a woman who captured my attention. And then I saw you here and something inside me clicked.”
I have to take a breath to compose myself. She’s got me all riled up like no one else ever has before. She’s woken this animal inside me and made me want to give in to my primal instincts. She gazes at me in wonder as I groan, my eyes dragging over her luscious body. I want to touch every inch of it. I want to touch her in places I’ve never touched anyone. I want to feel myself deep inside her, plunging into her over and over to make her mine forever. This possessive side to me is nothing I’ve ever experienced before, but she’s made me a new man in such a short amount of time.
“What clicked?” Faith asks me, a tremor in her voice. I reach out to her, my hand finding her waist.
“It clicked that you’re the only woman who could ever make me happy,” I growl. “The only woman who will ever be able to satisfy my needs. The only woman who will ever be able to give me what I want. What I need. I know it’s crazy, we only just met. But Faith, I know I have to make you mine.”
“I feel it too,” she whispers. “From the moment you walked in, it was like you were my knight in shining armor. I could feel this spark between us, but now, it’s completely impossible to ignore. And...it’s making me want things I’ve never had before.”
“Like what?” I growl, leaning in closer. “Tell me what it is that you want.”
