Only Ever Yours

“Look what I found.” I twirl the boxers around my finger. “They were under a pillow.” I extend my hand like I’m going to give them to her, but quickly pull back before she can grab them.

She glares, but the hint of a smile on her tells me she isn’t really mad. “Give me.”

I sit on the couch next to her and hold them away while she gets on her knees and tries to grab them from me. When she reaches across me, her shirt rises again, exposing most of her ass, and I can’t help latching onto her hips and placing her on my lap. My hand that’s not holding the boxers gives one perfect globe a squeeze.

“Isaac, give me the boxers,” she demands through a laugh.

“But I like you like this.” I peck her lips. “Knowing there’s nothing under here.” In this position, she’s straddling my lap, and even though the shirt is covering her, knowing her bare cunt is underneath is a fucking turn-on.

“It’s hardly fair.” She pouts. “I’m in only a shirt and you’re completely dressed.”

That gives me an idea…

“Let’s play a game. Two truths and a lie. If you guess my lie, I’ll give you the boxers.”

Her brows furrow in contemplation. “Fine, but if you don’t guess mine, you have to take an article of clothing off.”

“Sweetheart, you want my clothes off? Just tell me. I’ll gladly take off anything you want.”

She snorts a laugh. “You go first, so I can get the boxers.”

I think for a few seconds about what will stump her. “Okay, I majored in history in college, I lost my virginity in college, and my favorite breakfast food is pancakes.”

She scrunches her nose up. “This is hard. Pancakes are delicious, so I feel like that can be the truth, but what if you did it on purpose to throw me off? I can’t imagine you majoring in history, more like business or something to work with your dad. And losing your virginity in college? No way, unless you didn’t grow into this face and body until after high school.”

I chuckle at her rambling thoughts. “So, which is the lie?”

“You sure two of them are truths?”

“Yep, and one is a lie.”

She huffs. “Okay… I’m going with…The lie is that you lost your virginity in college.”

“Wrong. The lie is that my favorite breakfast food is pancakes. They’re good, but my favorite breakfast food is waffles with whipped cream and chocolate chips.”

“Ugh. Really? You lost your virginity in college?” She groans.

“Yep. Freshman year with Lucie Palomino. What about you?” I ask, hoping she’ll tell me so I can learn about her.

“Sophomore year of college,” she mutters, “with James.”

“James, really?” As if I didn’t already hate that asshole as it is, the thought of him getting something as precious as Camilla’s virginity makes me want to disassemble his and his father’s entire business.

“Yep, he’s the only guy I’ve slept with.”

“Why him?” I know why he would want her, but I just can’t picture her giving him the time of day.

“We grew up together. It was always a running joke that one day we would get married. He asked me out a few times, but I always said no. I wasn’t really into guys too much in high school and he was a couple years ahead of me. The summer before my sophomore year of college I was home visiting and we spent some time together. When I went back, he came to see me a few times and we started dating. He invited me to Hawaii for spring break and proposed. It felt right at the time.” Her eyes descend in what looks like shame or maybe regret, and I tilt her chin up so she’ll look at me.

“What happened?”

“Aside from him ending things just before he and his father framed my dad? When I came back, I found out he’d been cheating on me with several women.”

“He’s a piece of shit.”

She nods in agreement, then changes the subject. “So, history, huh?”

I laugh at the confusion on her face. “I love history. You know what they say… In order to change the future, you have to learn from the past. I planned to teach it. Even considered getting my masters and one day teaching at a university.”

“What happened?”

“My parents died and my dad left me everything, including his businesses.”

She nods in understanding. “Do you ever wish you’d taken a different direction?”

“Life’s too short for regrets. My dad would’ve understood had I chosen not to follow in his footsteps, but it was all I had left of him. Every day when I’m doing what he used to do, I feel closer to him. Like a part of him is with me.”

“I met them,” she says. “Your parents. It was years ago, but I think you were away at college. They came over quite a few times for dinner. Your mom was so sweet and would bring me little gifts.”
