Married in Vegas: In His Arms - Page 11

“That was after and none of them were you.”

I couldn’t listen to what he was saying. It was a trap I couldn’t fall into.

Ignoring what he said, I switched subjects not wanting to delve further in the past. “Have you called about the key?”

I lifted my hand as a reminder to him that we were stuck together.

His mouth closed as if he stopped himself from saying something.

“You looked like you needed sleep. I didn’t want to have to wake you earlier with someone coming to the door.”

“Okay, now would be a good time,” I said.

He just stared at me before rolling and bringing me with him. I landed on his chest when he ended up flat after grabbing his phone.

His woodies scent was all masculine and sexy wrapped in one.

The conversation he had with a nameless person on the other end was brisk and short.

“Um yeah, this is Cameron.” He glanced my way sounding oddly professional, but I had no idea if he’d called a store for one. “Can you bring it up now?” He murmured some agreements and ended the call with a “Thanks”.

“It should be up soon,” he said to me.

I wanted to pry, but time wasn’t on my side.

“I’m naked,” I announced.

That brought a naughty grin to his face.

Chapter 5

He rolled on top of me drawing our bound hands above my head. Before I could protest, his hot mouth covered my breast with suction that made my toes curl.

I let out a purely animalistic moan. All conscious thoughts turned to babbles of yesss and please.

He nudged my legs apart with his knees giving him access to my pulsating need. There was no sense of urgency on his part. His cock deliciously inched its way deep inside me. I felt full and stretched to the limit but wanted more. I bucked under him, needing more pressure against that fiery bundle of nerves. Skilled as he was, he figured out my wants. He ground himself against me setting out a fireworks display behind my lids.

“More,” I begged.

He didn’t need any more encouragement and picked up his previous languorous pace. Each thrust was like lightning I felt it from the top of my head to the bottom of my feet.

“Fuck, you feel good,” he said, with powerful strokes that made me scream in pleasure. “I swear you not going to forget me this time.”

I had never forgotten him but couldn’t reply. My tongue was between my teeth as I chased the orgasm down like a cop after a thief. I was so close I arched up meeting him in the middle hoping to tumble over the edge.

Damn him, he pulled almost all the way out and held my gaze like a man determined to win.

“Promise me you won’t run,” he said.

“What?”

He pulled out even further. He was barely inside and only moved back further when I brought my hips as high as possible in an awkward backbend.

“Promise me,” he demanded.

At that moment, I would have sworn to give him the moon and stars I was that close.

“Fine,” I gritted out. “I promise.”

He lunged forward, driving us both into the mattress. That was all it took to get me there. I fisted the sheets as his movement stoked the flames that had been ignited inside me.

His kiss muted my insatiable cries as he came hard and hot inside me. His curses were evidence he’d was just as affected as I was.

“Chissy—”

Whatever he was about to say was cut off as a persistent knock sounded. How long had the person on the other side been there?

I didn’t have time to chastise him about my name when I recalled we were still tethered together and naked.

He grinned at me as he pulled back. His eyes sweeping down the length of my body.

“I am not walking out there naked,” I warned.

That only made him laugh. He urged me to follow him off the bed as the knock sounded again. He bent and picked up a pair of boxers from the floor. I looked at him. He wasn’t fat by any stretch of the imagination, but he was still bigger than me. I sighed looking at my dress. There wasn’t time to put it on. I bent and slipped the boxers on and had to roll them a few times at the waist so they wouldn’t fall off my hips. He dragged on his dress pants and moved forward.

I wanted to protest that him walking out bare chested was acceptable, but not for me. On the other hand, if the guy bringing the key left, my modesty would be the least of my worries. I covered my breasts as best I could with my left arm crossing over the front of me. As he reached the door, he shifted me behind him.

“Hey,” he said as the door opened a crack. I couldn’t see from where I stood.
