said, “Well, I think you’ve seen the yard and the kitchen.”

Leading me through the large arch of the open doorway, he gestured like a game show

host. “And this is the fabulous living room.”

Nodding, I studied the pale blue and soft gray furniture, everything very comfortable and

relaxed. “Very nice,” I said. “Perfect for watching movies on rainy days.”

“Will have to do that soon,” he said, giving me a squeeze as he led me up the stairs.

eyes became molten. “Am I allowed to touch you everywhere?”

Nodding again, he was already reaching down for the hem of my sundress, pulling it up and

over my body slowly.

“Sweet Jesus,” he murmured.

The floaty feeling as he laid me across the bed was intoxicating, and was already addicted

to his touch. Twisting slightly, I unhooked my bra and tossed it aside, while my stomach

fluttered with curiosity.

Although I’d simply meant to be helpful, it felt like I’d given him some kind of sign. I sort of believed in signs, and this was definitely a positive one .
