He ran his hands up Jayme’s muscled thighs, to his hips where he gripped them; digging his fingers in. Jayme’s breathing hitched, spurring him on. He dragged his tongue along the underside of Jayme’s cock, until he got to the swollen and leaking head. Jayme hissed above him, his knuckles turning white where he held onto the counter. Tripp swirled his tongue around the head, before taking it into his mouth. Jayme cursed long and low.

Tripp took his time, dragging out Jayme’s pleasure. His partner writhed above him, his chest heaving as he struggled to catch his breath. He shoved his hand into Tripp’s hair, and clutched the strands for dear life. Jayme flexed his hips in time with the rhythm that Tripp set. Jayme was coming undone, and Tripp loved that it was because of him.

“Tripp.” Jayme warned.

He hummed and doubled his efforts. Jayme shouted, his hand tightening painfully in Tripp’s hair. He didn’t mind though, he always liked a little pain with his pleasure. Jayme came down his throat a moment later, Jayme’s body jerking and twitching. He continued to suck Jayme, until Jayme was pushing him away because he was oversensitive. He sat back on his heels and smiled up at Jayme.

Jayme panted hard, his chin resting on his chest; his eyes closed. He reached out and trailed his fingers up Jayme’s trembling thigh. Jayme’s whole body shivered, and his muscles twitched hard under Tripp’s fingers. Jayme’s hand clamped down over his.

“Stop that,” Jayme said hoarsely.

He chuckled and shoved to his feet. Jayme lifted his head and opened his eyes to look at Tripp. They were close enough that he could actually see some gold flecks in those beautiful green eyes. Jayme slipped an arm around his waist, and tugged Tripp against him. He draped his arms over Jayme’s shoulders, and waited.

“That was incredible,” Jayme rumbled. “Is the rest of it just as good?”

“It can be, sometimes even better,” he murmured.

Jayme hummed low, then leaned in and kissed him. It started out slow and sweet, but gradually ramped up to desperate and needy; until they were both clutching at each other, trying to get deeper.

He tore himself away and backed up a couple steps. “We better stop before I turn you around and take that virgin ass of yours before you’re ready.”

Jayme was already semi-hard again, as he stood there breathing heavy. Jayme’s eyes widened slightly at his statement. “Do you always top?”

He shrugged one shoulder. “Usually.”

“Have you ever bottomed?”

“I have. Depends on who I’m with. If I trust them or not.”

Jayme nodded slowly, contemplating that.

“I’m gonna go to the gym,” he said, backing away some more.

“Okay,” Jayme said, seeming to understand.

He left Jayme, naked and half aroused; and went to his room to get changed and grab his gym bag. He needed to work off some of this sexual energy, and fucking Jayme wasn’t an option right now. Jayme wasn’t ready for that. Maybe after they messed around a little more, and Jayme was more comfortable with it. Right now? No.

Jayme

“I’ve been wondering something,” Jayme said as they got in the truck to head to work a few days later.

“Okay?” Tripp answered.

“Where was your dad on Saturday?” he asked. The question had been bugging him, and he’d been working up the nerve to ask for a few days now.

Tripp was silent next to him for so long, that he had to glance over at him to check to make sure he heard him. The look on Tripp’s face said that he had heard and was debating on answering.

“My dad killed himself six years ago,” Tripp said quietly.

Jayme closed his eyes and mentally kicked himself. “Shit. I’m sorry.”

Tripp shrugged. “It’s okay. You didn’t know.”

Jayme started the truck and backed out of the driveway. He didn’t know what to say after that, so he just remained silent.

“He had depression, and wasn’t taking his meds,” Tripp said into the silence. “I...uh...I found him hanging in our garage. He was still alive when I cut him down but didn’t make it once he got to the hospital.”

“Damn, Tripp. I can’t even begin to imagine,” he murmured, his heart aching for his friend.

“My sister struggles with depression too. She seems to be doing well right now, which I’m happy about.”

“That’s good. I’m glad she’s doing well.”

“She said she thinks she finally found a good medication.”

“That’s great.”

“Yeah.”

“Thanks for sharing that with me,” he said softly.

Tripp rolled his lips in and nodded. “I don’t share that with many people.”

The implication of that statement was not lost on him. Tripp trusted him enough to tell him one of his more personal secrets.

“Secret for a secret?” he asked, glancing over at his partner.

Tripp’s eyebrows shot up. “Only if you want to.”

“I still struggle with PTSD, and I’m on medication everyday for it.”

If it was possible, Tripp’s eyebrows climbed higher. “Does the department know?”
