Dane and Sam were staring at me like I’d gone nuts.

“Oh come on… You two…”

I took some deep breaths, forcing myself to breathe, to calm the racing of my heart.

This was a little too hilarious.

“What’s funny, Celeste?” Sam asked, his tone bordering on angry.

I forced myself to sober quickly. They were beginning to look offended again.

I reached over and held each of their hands.

“You two are super-hot, powerful shifters. I’m just a little, ugly human. Do you know how blessed I feel to have you both? To know that you want me, even a fraction of how much I want you?”

Too gentle.

The weeks wore on and I grew bigger and bigger.

My one baby made my appetite skyrocket, and my belly protruded through all the new clothes the boys had bought for me.

But despite the fear of miscarriage, we fell into a beautiful rhythm of sleeping together all night, then I’d wake to one of them bringing me breakfast before they went off to work.

I’d clean the house, if I felt up to it, and bake for them.

They’d come home at lunchtime to check on me, and Claire and Nevaeh were frequent visitors.
