Pretty Girl
“Sorry.” I smile. I’m not going to stop my boys from taking care of me. Taylor runs the cooler over to the Gator and puts it onto the back. I walk down the steps and take in the view of my family. I glance over my shoulder at our home, then over to the barn. My eyes fill with tears again. Freaking pregnancy hormones. I’m totally blaming them.
“Come on, Mommy!”
“Yeah, Mom.”
Jax holds his hand out to me and helps me up though I don’t need it.
“Lead the way, Taylor,” Jax yells out to our oldest as our other two boys wiggle around excitedly, like this isn’t something we do three to four times a week.
I smile knowing this afternoon is going to be perfect just like my little baby girl and the rest of our lives. My boys wouldn’t have it any other way for their mom.
THE END!
