Tilly
My eyes opened again, and Jackson was studying me. “Have a drink,” he said, holding a water bottle to my mouth.
“Thank you,” I whispered. “You can stop purring now.”
He smiled. “You are a resistant omega, but do you know what an alpha loves?”
“Tell me.”
“Hunting his omega, and I caught you.”
“And why do you insist I’m not a beta?” I asked, calling his bluff.
He sniffed around my cheek and my neck. Closed his eyes and sighed. “Chocolate and clean sheets. Your perfume is overwhelming and now you’re sweating, it enhanced and it’s distracting.”
I blinked hard as I chewed on the inside of my cheek. He smelled me the same as I scented him. Cruz said the same, though I didn’t agree with him.
“Unfortunately, you choose to mask it with chemicals. Though it’s bode you well. I know of an alpha who knows you are an omega, and he tells me you hide very well.”
My eyes shot to his, blinking furiously.
“Luckily, he has an omega.” He stopped and stared for a moment. “I’ll give you all my help if you admit it.”
“I lose my power if I admit it,” I said, admitting it.
“Your power is being an omega. Have you not realised that? Alphas are strong, but you Tilly. You’re smart, and yes, you have a beautiful vulnerability but a courageous strength. When you have bonded alphas, we will fall to your feet, not you to ours.” There was a hesitation as he gazed at me. “I want to be one of those bonded alphas at your feet. My pack wants you.”
Jackson, Luca... and Cruz.
