Hotel O
I nod. “Hundred percent.”
He lets out a sigh, closing his eyes as he rubs his forehead. “Okay, if you say so.”
“Plus, you didn’t exactly tell me either, now did you?” I raise my brow at him.
“Sorry …” he replies, averting his eyes. “I just never knew how to tell you. If it was even my place to do so.”
“I understand,” I say. “I’m not mad. I just want to start over. Between us three. Please?” I ask him, squeezing his hand. “You’re my best friend. I don’t want to lose you.”
He takes a deep breath, and slowly but surely, a small smile begins to appear. “Fuck it. All right, all right.”
I jump up from my seat and hug him so hard he cringes and coughs.
“Choking me.”
“Sorry,” I say, giggling.
“Thanks,” he mutters when I release him from my grip.
“So we good?” I ask.
“Yeah, yeah,” Flynn says, rolling his eyes. “We weren’t ever not good. I just want the best for you.”
“I know,” I say. “But this feels good, Flynn. This.” I glance at Declan. “Us.”
The way Declan smiles back at me makes the butterflies flutter in my stomach.
“Well, if it makes you happy, then who am I to stand between that?” Flynn says, shrugging.
“Thank you for understand,” I say, squeezing his arm. “And I can personally guarantee Declan will keep you on payroll at the hotel.”
Flynn doesn’t respond. All he does is raise his brow at Declan in a taunting way.
“It’s true. I swear to God,” Declan says jokingly. “I’ve never had the intention. Ever.”
“Not even for getting in your way?” Flynn says.
“No. You’re her friend. Of course, I wouldn’t fire you.” He clears his throat. “Besides, you’re valuable to the hotel. You bring in a lot of customers.”
Flynn gives us both a smug face. “How long did it take you to make him say that?”
I laugh. “He came up with it himself.”
“Really now?” Flynn says.
Declan shrugs. “I can’t fabricate numbers. Her dad would kill me.”
“Right,” he responds.
“I have no intention of starting a fight. I promise. I just want her to be happy, that’s all. And she wants us to get along, so …” Declan says, holding out his hand. “Peace?”
It takes him a while, but eventually, Flynn shakes his hand. “Fine.”
“Great,” I say, pulling them both in for a super awkward hug. Then I grab their coffees and shove them into their hands. “Now … let’s toast on it!”
Declan
She lies down on her bed as I undress and prepare to lie down beside her. Tonight, I’m staying at her place, but we’ve been switching back and forth between both our homes. She’s already said she prefers my place, so I figured I’d ask her the big question tonight.
As I get in, she puts her book aside and rolls over, staring at me with a grin. “So am I ever going to be able to go to another event again?”
I frown. “Why are you asking?”
She shrugs. “I kinda liked them.”
“You sure about that?” I raise a brow. “You didn’t make it through one last time.”
“Because you wore me out beforehand,” she retorts. “I’m just saying I never got a real chance.”
“Do you really want one? With me around?”
“Why not?” She smirks. “We’re both filthy. Maybe we could do one together.”
“Me? Participate?”
“Why not?” She pokes me. “Or are you saying you don’t like sharing me anymore?”
I narrow my eyes. “I’m not jealous if that’s what you’re asking.”
“Yes, you are. You just don’t want to admit it.”
“I have no problems sharing you. I just don’t like to see others play with you when I’m not part of the game.”
“Exactly my point. You need to take part in one of them too.”
“I’m a hotel employee, not a guest.”
“So? You can have a day off and stay there, right? It’s not against the rules, is it?”
I bite my lip. I don’t actually know because I’ve never tried. At least, not before I met her. But if she’s that interested in trying it again … I have to see if there’s a possibility.
“C’mon, I don’t want to give up our kinky life just because we’re a thing now,” she says.
“I never said you have to …” I reply, sighing. “But I’ll see what I can do.”
“Yay!” She wraps her arm around my neck and hugs me, practically pressing her tits right up in my face. I’d be lying if I said it didn’t make me hard as a rock.
“So you’re not interested in other girls anymore?” she mumbles.
“Where’s all this coming from?” I ask.
“You said that when Flynn was here. Something about the chat room …” She pokes me.
“Ahh …” I raise a brow at her. “You’re wondering if you have competition?” Is she getting jealous? Nice. It means she’s as attached to me as I am attached to her.
“Well, not per se, I just wanna know whether you still intend to use the chat room,” she says.
