CHAPTER15

Colby

Despite all the sleep I’d already gotten that day, the mind blowing orgasm had prepared me to fall back into dreamland when Arsen tucked me into his cot with him. His heat seeped into my skin as the afternoon wore on and I didn’t even need the blanket he draped over me.

The room was dark when he stirred behind me and roused me from slumber. I shivered and pressed back against him. His shifting had allowed the evening air to invade our little cocoon.

“It’s dinnertime,” he murmured in my ear.

I was groggy and still half asleep, so I let him help me dress as I sat on the edge of his cot and tried to blink myself awake. He tugged me into a standing position and I obediently followed after him.

Not even the stares coming from the other men could force me from my stupor, so I sat on the log and stared blankly at the fire.

“What’d you do to her?” Sig asked with a light chuckle.

“She hasn’t woken up yet,” Arsen replied.

I shivered again, wrapping my arms around myself. Whenever I got this way, I couldn't seem to ward off the slightest chill. A coat dropped over my shoulders and I looked up, ready to thank Arsen. The words died in my throat as Rafe shoved my arms into the appropriate holes.

It wasn’t possible to make my sluggish mind understand why he cared if I was cold. In all honesty, I didn’t understand him at all. His silver eyes had scorched me earlier while Arsen had eaten me out on the log. My pussy tingled just thinking about those silver eyes roaming my body as another man’s head was between my thighs. Embarrassment flooded me, but it wasn’t as strong as the arousal.

My body was fine tuned for not one, or two, but apparently three men. These three men. I couldn’t comprehend it. That had never been a particular fantasy of mine, but now my mind kept throwing scenarios of what could be done with three cocks at once. My cheeks heated and if for no other reason I was grateful for the extra warmth.

“Thanks,” I told him, as he walked away after bundling me into his jacket.

He didn’t respond, just went back to work on making our meal. Slowly, I began to wake up enough that the fog lifted from my mind. I couldn’t believe what I’d allowed to happen earlier, not only because I’d allowed two men to watch as I orgasmed, but because they were my captors. And I liked it. Not just the orgasm, but them watching me. It made it all…better, more intense.

My eyes closed and I dropped my head down into my hands. I didn’t know what was going on with me. I needed to figure out a way to get away from here. Even if there was very little for me back home, I couldn’t afford to stay here. If nothing else, the guilt was going to eat me alive.

Mind made up, I decided the best thing to do was to behave—as much as it pained me to do—so that I could gain the barest sliver of trust from these men. I wasn’t going to be able to run if they didn’t let me out of their sights long enough to do more than make a trip to the outhouse.

Rafe handed out the plates and sat down next to me. Disgust swirled around my stomach as I contemplated doing what I needed to.

He turned to me, after taking the first bite, and held up a strip of meat. The idea of eating Bambi mixed with the knowledge of what I was about to do made bile rise in my throat. I swallowed it back. I needed to be convincing.

“Would you please feed me?” I asked before Rafe could make any demands. If he commanded me, I wasn’t sure I’d be able to swallow my abhorrence of begging someone to feed me.

His strong jaw actually dropped and if I wasn’t feeling so damn ashamed of myself I might have laughed at the shocked look on his face. It didn’t stay long. A cold mask dropped over his expression and he brought the food toward me.

Grasping his wrist, I halted his progress. His eyes narrowed dangerously on my face. “I’d appreciate it if we could use a fork.” I motioned to the other two who were using utensils.

“No.”

You need his trust. You need a full stomach and the strength that would bring.

Gritting my teeth together to keep from snapping and calling him every foul name in the book, we locked eyes. If staring could be a duel, we were having a silent battle of wills.

“Why?” I couldn’t keep quiet. The question popped out before I realized it was forming. “I asked like you wanted. What does it matter if we-”

He shoved the meat into my mouth as I was speaking and I choked on it a little. His thumb brushed over my bottom lip as I fought not to swallow the bite he’d forced on me.

Asshole.

His eyes softened, just the tiniest bit, but I was pissed. Darting forward before he could move, I bit down on his thumb as hard as I could.

“Fuck!” He managed to jerk his hand away from me, shaking it to relieve the pain.

I gave him a satisfied grin as I chewed on my deer meat. He glared at me, which only made me smile bigger.
