Daddy's Fiery Little (Wounded Daddies 5)
EPILOGUE
Vanessa
It’s a damned relief to get up from the piano and let Titus sit down again. My ass stings like crazy from the third spanking this week. Sometimes I think I intentionally provoke Micah just to feel him take control like that.
If this keeps up, I won’t be playing the piano at all!
Being his little girl is the most perfect thing I can imagine. For almost six months now, life has been everything I have ever wanted. I’m changing and growing, too. It’s amazing to me how he’s able to guide me and how he can be so infuriatingly perfect when it comes to a balance between breaking my will without breaking my spirit.
Damn! If there ever comes a time when my ass cheeks aren’t sore as can be, I’ll be very, very surprised.
I’m not complaining, of course.
I can’t believe how wonderful he is.
I sing Micah’s favorite song next, which has become my signature song. I love to sing it and more importantly, to mean it as I do. Then, I notice a commotion in the back, and I lower my microphone.
“Everyone, look!” I point at the back and say, “It’s Rollie and her entourage back from tour!”
The audience erupts in applause and Rollie hands little Elena over to Helen. She points at me, fake angry for putting the spotlight on her.
“If you all clap really, really hard,” I say, “maybe we can get a big superstar to come sing a duet with a little piano bar singer like me!”
Of course, the audience clamors and screams for Rollie. She resists just the amount she’s supposed to resist, then Micah steps over, whispers something to her, and takes her arm to escort her down. I smile and I’m surprised to see Micah come on stage with her. The club regulars still love her, and their applause is deafening.
Rollie takes a mic and says, “I can’t believe you all still want me when you’ve got an angel singing for you.” She smiles at more applause and says, “I don’t know what to sing.”
Micah takes her mic suddenly and says, “Maybe I can inspire you guys.” Then, he drops to one knee.
“Vanessa, you’re the most perfect little girl I’ve ever met. Will you marry me?”
He holds out a ring, but I don’t even see it. I fall to my knees in front of him and throw my arms around him. “Yes, Daddy! Yes!”
Rollie says, “You can’t hear but she said she’d marry him!”
The audience cheers and I finally get up so Micah can slip his ring onto my finger.
“So, what do we sing?” Rollie asks, smiling.
I know exactly what to sing. I call for a chair and make Micah sit. Then I begin.
“You made me love you. I didn’t want to do it. I didn’t want to do it…”
