All the President's Men 1: Derek's Darling Damsel
Tyler had them home in record time and promised to
let Derek know what was going on. The nightmare wasn’t over, but it was close. Dottie would still have to be debriefed and testify at Terrance’s and the other kidnapper’s hearings, but with the file they had found on her drive, Terrance would not be able to deny his involvement.
Tyler called Derek later that evening to let him know that the list of names he had found could be matched up with missing women in the area and that they were doing their best to notify families and track down the whereabouts of the women. One of the kidnappers was talking, hoping for a lighter punishment, so they had some leads. It was going to be slow going, but it looked like there might be some good outcomes. Derek waited to tell Dottie the good news, not wanting to disturb the rest she was getting.
He hadn’t left her side since he got her home, and even as he talked to Tyler, he lay in bed beside her. Ending the call, he turned his phone off and pulled Dottie to him. The debriefing would wait until she was in better condition. She had told him her story and he would remember every word for the rest of his life.
Dottie woke the next morning and she was lying on top of Derek, skin to skin. Everything that had happened yesterday seemed like a terrible, terrible nightmare. Unfortunately, it was a real one. She shuddered at the thought of what could have happened had Derek and the others not stormed in when they did, thanking her lucky stars that they did appear in time.
Leaving her head on his pecs, she snuggled, trying to get even closer, wishing she could crawl in his skin with him. She didn’t know how, but in the short time they had been together, he had become her rock. She couldn’t imagine her life without him and hoped he felt the same.
She could tell when he woke up, the slight stirring as his breathing shifted from sleep to wakefulness, the rise in his body temperature, his hand sliding across her ass…all these things let her know he was awake. She lifted her face to his, planning on giving him a “good morning, I love you” kiss, but before she could, he flipped her over to her back.
“Hey, baby,” he said as he loomed over her, caging her body with his, and took her mouth in a branding kiss.
Pulling back, he looked deep into her eyes and said, “I’ve never been as scared as I was yesterday. I should paddle your ass for putting me through that.” And he took her mouth again.
Dottie wrapped her arms around his muscular back, holding tight, he was her lifeline and she needed him to take her now. She needed his strength, his dominance, needed him to take what was his and envelop her with his maleness. She needed him.
“Derek, take me, tell me who I belong to, make me yours and never let me go.”
At her words, he fitted himself to her and slammed in. She was his and he was never going to let her go.
It was a rough fucking, that was all it could be called. He branded himself on her, spoiling her for any other man. No one, no one would ever take what was his again. Again and again he slammed into her, growling the word “Mine!” with every inward thrust. Her answering “yours,” just spurred him on. It had never been like this before for either of them, and they had their entire lives to show the depth of their love.
Both of them going over the edge, he fell to his side, pulling her with him. Panting, he told her, “If you ever, ever scare me like that again, I will paddle your ass so red you won’t sit for a week. And don’t think you’re off the hook for yesterday. I think once I get my breath back, you are going over my knee.”
Smiling, she ran her hand over his chest and answered, “Yes, Sir, whatever you want.”
“Damned right,” he said and took her mouth again.
It was several hours and a long spanking later before Derek let Dottie up again, but not before he asked, “Dottie, this probably isn’t the most romantic proposal, but will you marry me? I promise to protect you with my life if necessary and share everything I have and am with you. Please say yes.”
Even though he had just finished paddling her ass red and she was still hanging upside down over his lap, Dottie smiled. “Oh no, Mister, you are so not getting away with that. You flip me around and ask me properly or the answer’s a big fat no.” There was no way she was going to say no, but there was also no way she was answering him in this position.
Flipping her over and holding her in his lap, he looked into her mirth-filled eyes and said, “I suppose you want it all—nice dinner, me on one knee, a ring, the whole nine yards?” he asked, cupping her face.
“Yes, Sir, I want it all. I think I’m worth it, aren’t I?”
“Baby, you’re worth all that and more, but please don’t make me wait. I promise, I will take you somewhere nice and I already have a ring, but please answer me.” He had that little boy grin on his face and his eyes were pleading.
Dottie couldn’t help but answer, “Yes, Derek Moore, I will marry you and be yours. I don’t care about a ring and all the other things, I just want you.” She smiled and pulled his head down to hers to seal the deal with a kiss.
When he let her up, she asked, “Do you really have a ring? Can I see it? When did you get it?”
Derek flipped her to the middle of the bed and stood, going into one of his dresser drawers. “This was my mother’s. Dad got her a new one several years ago, and she gave it to me to have when I found the right woman. If you don’t like it or want something different, we can shop and we will have it sized,” he said, kneeling in front of where she had moved to sit and opening the box.
The ring was beautiful. A single, solitary square-cut diamond. Dottie couldn’t tell sizes, but it was large and the band gold and simple. Perfect. Holding out her hand, she waited for Derek to slip it on her finger.
Derek looked into her eyes and slipped the diamond on her finger. It fit perfectly. They both smiled. Fate, it was meant to be.
Chapter Fifteen
They were married six months later. Dottie had spent her time getting to know Derek’s sisters and family. She had cut back her hours at work and was not traveling anymore. Any traveling she would do would be with Derek, who had also cut back his hours at the Secret Service and was spending more hands-on time at the club, managing.
He was preparing to retire in the next six months to a year and was going to be managing the club full-time. He and Dottie spent many evenings there, playing or just hanging out. They had explored most of the theme rooms and Dottie was becoming more comfortable with herself and her submissiveness. She had started talking to several of the women who were at the club on a regular basis and was becoming close friends with Tracy, the FBI agent who had conducted her first interview.
The trial of the men who had kidnapped her, including Terrance, was over and all had been convicted and were serving jail time. In a touching move Terrance had personally apologized at his trial, admitting the money had lured him in.
