Waiting For You
Chapter Fifteen
~ Mars ~
“What do you want?” I demanded while I dug around in the fridge for my dinner. Reba was out with her friends and I was on my own until she got back. I had zero desire to be anywhere near my uncle.
When I whirled back to look at him, he leaned against the counter. His hand shoved into his pocket. “Just thought I’d spend some time with my nephew.”
“Fuck you. I want nothing to do with you, and you know it.” I grabbed the Coke I’d poured and retreated to the other side of the kitchen to reheat the dinner Chef had left for me. I turned on the oven and sipped my drink while I waited for it to warm up.
Niles didn’t go away, but I ignored him, drinking my soft drink and covertly watching him in the chrome of the kitchen’s backsplash. The timer went off and I shoved the foil pan into the oven. A wave of dizziness washed over me and I squeezed my eyes shut as I clenched the edge of the counter.
What the hell?
My hand shaking, I finished my Coke, hoping the sugar would steady me. Before my dinner was halfway heated, I swayed. Fuck… What the hell?
My legs buckled, but Niles was there catching me.
“Not feeling so well?” he asked, his tone smarmy and unsurprised.
“What did you do?” I demanded, but the words came out slurred and garbled, not sounding like words at all. I couldn’t stand and all my weight was on Niles.
He tsked. “Can’t have you cooking in this condition. You’ll burn down the house. Let’s just take you up to your room, shall we?”
“No!” I tried to scream, but it just came out as a strangled moan.
“You should pay better attention to your drinks,” he said conversationally while he half dragged me through the house, and God help me, terror like I had felt since childhood gripped me. “Gave you a little something-something I got from a friend. To help you along with things, you know? It’s a special mix. It’ll relax you but let you feel everything that happens, let you be aware of it all while I own your ass. It’s time I remind you it’s mine and I’ll take it whenever the hell I want.”
A scream ripped up my throat but emerged as barely a whisper of sound. I struggled to get out of his grip, knowing it would do no good. My limbs wouldn’t respond, and to my humiliation, he slung my dead weight over his shoulder to carry me up the stairs.
He flung open my bedroom door that he must have jimmied open earlier and dropped me heavily on the bed. Knowing I couldn’t move, he strolled over to the bedroom door and closed it.
“How are you feeling?” he asked. Good and helpless? Excited? I bet you’re excited.” He rubbed his hand over his crotch. “I am. I’ve waited for this day for far too long.”
Eyes wide, unable to respond when I begged them to shut, I watched him unzip his pants and pull out his dick then roll on a condom. Crawling over me, he yanked down my pants.
“Excited? Not using lube. There’s enough on here, huh?” he asked, leaning over me, his shaft against my but cheek. “I’m gonna make you my slut all night long. Well, maybe not all night. When that cute girlfriend of yours sneaks in here, I’m fucking her too while you watch. She won’t get any drugs though. I want her to fight me. Fuck,” he groan, moving so he could thrust. “That makes me even harder.”
No, no, no,I screamed inside. Garble sounds came gargled in my throat.
“Mars, are you in here?”
Reba gasped as she came into the room. I couldn’t turn my head like Niles did, but it that didn’t help him. From the corner of my eye, I saw her lift the chair I wedged against my door every night. She swung it with all her might and knocked Nile sideways.
She hit him again and again before she threw the chair aside and grabbed him by his overly gelled thin hair. I heard thuds and the smack of flesh, accompanied by groans.
A tear managed to roll down my cheek as I imagined him attacking Reba and me not being able to help her.
But it was Reba who appeared at my side.
Her hand brushed my cheek. “Babe…are you okay.”
I just stared. I couldn’t do anything else.
“Shit,” she muttered. “I’m getting help. He’s knocked out but I don’t know how long.”
Picking up the phone beside my bed, she hit the intercom button. “I need help in Marshall’s bedroom. Now! And call the police.”
