Fall From Grace
“It’s fine. Keep going,” she tells me. “Oh my god, Carson. I’m gonna…”
Her words trail off as I feel her entire body spasm around me. I let go of her hair and grab both of her hips, picking up the pace with brutal thrusts until I am exploding inside of her.
Her phone rings again but she can’t reach it since she can barely move as I am collapsed on top of her.
“I should maybe look at that.”
I moan into her neck. “What could be more important than this right here?” I ask her just as my dick spasms inside of her.
“What if—”
The sound of her phone ringing for the fourth time in a row has me groaning as I pull out of her and roll onto my back.
“Shit,” she says as she looks at her phone. “Oh fuck.”
I prop myself up on my elbows. “What is it?”
“Chelsi went into labor. They are on their way to the hospital. Shit.” She springs out of bed and starts flinging on her clothes.
“What?” I ask.
“My brother was calling me to have me come upstairs and watch the kids.”
“Shit,” I mutter. It’s one in the morning. She came over to my house a few hours ago. Told her brother she was tired and wanted to get some rest and instead I picked her up on my way home from work.
My phone rings and I lean over and grab it. It’s Owen. “Hey man, what’s up?”
“I knew you would be awake. Are you working at this time of night?”
“Did you really call me to check to see if I was working?”
He chuckles. “No, man. Chelsi went into labor. Grace isn’t home. We had to bring the girls with us.”
“Well shit. That’s exciting, man.” I look over at Grace, who is shooting flames out of her eyes at me. “Where do you think Grace is?” I can’t help but smirk at her as I say it. Even though I feel slightly bad she isn’t home to watch the girls.
“Who knows. I’m guessing she’s probably fucking the guy she’s in a secret relationship with.”
“Probably a good guess.” As in one-hundred-percent accurate.
“Can you see if you can get a hold of her?”
“I’ll see what I can do.”
“Thanks, man. I texted her. But I just need her to watch the girls so I can be in the delivery room with Chels.”
“Totally get it.” I look over at Grace, who looks like she wants to murder me. “If I can’t get ahold of her, I’ll come there. I’ll watch the girls.”
“Thanks, man. I gotta go, just pulled into the parking lot.”
He hangs up before I can say anything.
“What the hell, Carson?”
“Owen suspects you are fucking someone. I let him believe that and go with it.”
She props her hands on her hips. “And you didn’t think to tell me? When did he tell you this?”
“A week ago.” I shrug. “And he doesn’t think it’s me, so I didn’t see the problem. I actually saw it as advantageous.”
