“Anyone mind if I put football on?” Blink asks, looking around for the remote.
“No, go for it. I’m just going to take these boxes out.” Graves stands and grabs the now empty pizza boxes off the table.
I stand too and grab the empty cans and glasses from the table.
“I’m going to take a bath and head to bed. Night guys.”
After a chorus of goodnights, I follow Graves into the kitchen and place the glasses in the dishwasher.
“You sure you don’t mind having us all here? I don’t want you to feel like we’re taking over.”
He turns to me with a frown after tossing the boxes away.
“I told you, I like having you all here.”
“You’ve been quiet…” I trail off.
He steps forward, his hand sliding to my hip. “I’m always quiet.”
“A man of few words, huh?”
“More like I just don’t want to scare you all away.”
I laugh, but Graves doesn’t. I cup his jaw, lift up onto my tiptoes and press a kiss against his lips.
“Relax. We’re happy here. I know it’s early days, but it just works, you know?”
He wraps his arms around me and holds me for a moment while we listen to the others laughing and joking in the living room.
“You want to go hang with the guys, or do you want to come take a bath with me?”
He pulls back to look at my face before his lips tip up in a small grin. “What do you think?”
I grin back and take his hand, tugging him upstairs to my bedroom. Heading straight to the bathroom, I start running the bath, adding some bubbles. I head back to the bedroom and pause in the doorway when I find Graves standing naked with his hands on his hips, waiting for me.
“Now that’s some superpower you have there. How long was I gone?” I ask, my eyes on his hard dick.
“Too long. Strip for me, Mal.”
Well, since he asked so nicely, I tug my T-shirt up over my head and toss it on the dresser beside me before sliding my shorts down my legs. I step out of them, leaving me in my underwear. It’s nothing fancy, just a black T-shirt bra with a matching pair of boy shorts, but Graves’s dick seems to appreciate them nonetheless. It bobs a little while he drinks in the sight of me.
I slip my bra off first, far slower than I did the rest of my clothing, then turn before hooking my fingers into the edge of my panties and slide them down my thighs.
I keep my legs straight as I bend down and smirk when I hear him groan. It’s me that’s groaning in the next minute when I feel his heat behind me and his fingers gliding over my now exposed pussy.
“Such a temptress.”
Finding me already wet, he slips two fingers inside and slowly pumps them in and out before pulling them from me and licking them clean.
He swoops me up and carries me into the bathroom before placing me gently on my feet. He then tests the temperature of the water and turns the tap off before he lifts me and carefully lowers me into the tub.
“You are always so good at taking care of me,” I muse as I scoot forward to make space for him to climb in behind me.
From bringing me drinks and making sure I have lunch to checking up on me and making sure I’m okay, Graves shows me in a million tiny ways that he’s thinking of me throughout the day. I’ve never had that before, never knew it was something I was even looking for. Graves does it with such effortless ease, and it makes me feel cherished and important. I wish all men out there realized that big gestures of romance can be amazing, but it’s the small everyday things that will make a woman fall in love with you without realizing it.
I lean back against him and close my eyes as he holds me, the silence of the room peaceful and soothing. I’ve never been one of those people who needed to fill in the quiet spaces, and I can’t think of a better person to sit in the quiet with than Graves.
“Pass me the soap, and I’ll wash your back for you.” I open my eyes at his gravel voice, surprised to find I was almost dozing off.
