His hands. Oh my god! His hands! My body tingles wherever his fingertips touch. Sizzling heat dancing like fireworks under my skin. My eyes close, unable to stay open even though I want to see him. His eyes are dark and his jaw clenches. His control is savage and it stokes the flames I feel with him.

“Ronan!” I wail. “Please! Please. I need you.”

“You have me,” his deep voice like gravel makes me shiver. His body buffets me like a ship on a stormy sea, shaking and breaking me into desperate pieces floating on the water.

My nails dig into his bare shoulders and my legs wrap around his slim waist. His muscles flex and release over and over again as he plunges into my aching, pulsing core.

Screaming, my back arching up into his, I feel the waves of my release wash over me, my breath panting out so harsh that I can barely catch a breath.

It doesn’t stop him though. He grinds his teeth together and his pace picks up as he grinds against me, his hips circling until the friction on my clit drives me over the edge again. I scream and cry and he grunts and grinds until I feel him still deep inside me, his body tensing. His release washing over my convulsing core in streams of his seed.

He collapses on top of me and my hands run along his spine, feeling the sweat coating his skin. The shudders running down his body.

Then his head lifts and he gives me a lopsided, happy grin. “That was amazing!” His dark eyes cloud over briefly. “Did you make it?”

My mouth drops open. “Are you kidding me? I think my lower region is actually imprinted with your dick. Trust me. I made it. Multiple freaking times.”

A cocky smirk makes the dimple in his cheeks dance and again that need to lick it comes over me.

“Good.” His eyes close and then he reaches up and drags me across his body, soothing my aching muscles with his sexy-ass hands.

“Ohhh.” I moan and sink into his body. His scent mingles with mine in an intoxicating way that makes my whole body throb yet again.

I’m too damn tired but damn, if he wanted to again. I would in a heartbeat. I’ve never been so satisfied. So happy with my choices.

So in love with my husband. My heart clenches in my chest. I’m in love with Ronan.

Oh shit! That isn’t something I expected so soon. But he’s so much more than I ever thought I would get. So loving, so sweet. Just so much.

I sigh and cuddle into his body, letting my mind shut down and drift off. Because I’m not ready to admit what I know. I can’t lose this man.

In the morning, I wake when dawn barely breaks. I’m energized and happy and can’t wait to get my day started. So I slide out from under Ronan’s body, smiling when he chuffs in his sleep, his hands gripping at the sheets.

I tiptoe out of the room. Then I skip down the stairs going into the kitchen to make a quick breakfast.

Whistling and humming happily, I find a bowl of fruit and coffee and start working on food. I’m starving.

I take my coffee and a banana out to where the dining room is and put the banana down to watch the sun come up over the mountain. Pinks, golds, purples and indigo paint the sky as it lightens. I sip the hot coffee and smile, more relaxed and at peace than I’ve been in years.

Leaning on the glass, I sip the warm beverage and watch the day start, opening the slider door to let the cool air and morning sounds wash over me.

Until a knock comes from the front door. I jump and swear when part of the hot drink hits my hand.

“Shit!” I mutter under my breath.

I put my mug on the table and then wipe my hands on the sweater I pulled on before I came downstairs.

I open the door and gape at the man on the doorstep. His hand is lifted to knock again. His stern features smirk at me and I feel the urge to cover up. Even more so when the woman standing next to him huffs and pushes at his arm. “Howard. Hurry up. I’m tired and I want to get some sleep. If only you hadn’t set up that ridiculous night-time flight,” she harps.

My nose crinkles when I eye her. She reminds me so much of all the bitches in Emerald Ridge that made my life hell when John left me. And yet here she is, an unhappy blip on my otherwise happy first whole day of marriage.

“Could you let Ronan know that his cousin is here?” She strides into the room and takes off the gloves that cover her fingers, grimacing when she gets a good look at me.

“It’s nice that your cousin finally made an effort to live a normal life by getting a maid but shouldn’t you be wearing something a little more like a uniform? It’s early but it’s never too early to look professional.”

My cheeks flush at her haughty tone and I cringe back into myself. Yep! She’s definitely one of those women. Judgmental, harsh and nasty.
