Tempt (Dark Odyssey Club Fantasies 2)
Rachel
This is so awkward…
The tension in the room is so thick I really could cut it with a knife.
I’m sitting next to Allen who keeps looking at my breasts, and Dante is ahead of us trying to iron out our campaign plans for Activate.
It’s evident Dante’s trying to concentrate but keeps giving Allen daggers every time he catches him looking at me.
Today is worse than last week. Last week it was clear from the way Dante looked at Allen that he wanted to say something but was holding off. Today he looks like he’d beat him senseless if he could.
We had a really good weekend and tonight I’m meeting him at The Dark Odyssey for the start of our wild sexual fun. We came up with the plan to do one fantasy every time we go there.
I’m excited, but I’ll confess that I’m nervous I’ll do something to spoil it. I’ve never been good at keeping secrets but this is a secret that’s worth keeping and taking with me to my death.
Dante walks around to the front of his desk and sits on the edge.
“I think in a few days we could have a plan ready to present to the liaisons at Activate. Are you guys up for that?” he asks.
“I am,” I answer gazing adoringly at him.
Allen doesn’t answer. I turn to look at him and see he’s staring so hard at my breasts he hasn’t heard a word.
“Hey pal,” Dante says coming up to Allen and snapping his fingers in front of his face. Allen looks up and blinks.
“I’m sorry old man, what did you say?”
I can’t stand that he calls Dante old man and he knows Dante can’t stand it either.
“Allen… let me give you a lesson in life, consider it a tip from the elderly seeing as you insist on calling me old man when you know my name.”
Allen straightens. “I didn’t mean anything by it bro. It’s just the way I talk.”
“Allen, I don’t give a flying fuck how you talk. If you’re idiot enough to assume you and I are pals it’s your mistake. I’m cool because we’re at work. However, look at her again the way you are and it’s your funeral.”
My eyes go wide and I hear Allen swallow hard with a gulp. I don’t think I can remember Dante ever looking so mad at anyone. I can tell he has a temper from the bad ass vibe he exudes but he’s never shown it around me.
“Understand?” he asks Allen.
“Yes, yes Dante,” Allen says nodding.
It’s almost comical the way he shaped up so quick. I hope that means he won’t be ogling me anymore.
Dante glances at me and goes back to the presentation. He resumes talking like nothing happened. The time passes and the meeting ends half an hour later.
Allen is the first to leave, no surprise there. As he does Dante watches him go and I watch Dante.
I get up and go over to him. When he looks at me his face softens.
“You okay?” he asks. “Sorry you had to see me get so mad.”
“I’m fine, and thanks for talking to him, he’s been doing that for a while.”
“Don’t stand for it Princesa. If he does that again you tell me. You hear me?”
“Yeah…” I gaze up at him and he reaches out to touch my hand. We can’t kiss because the walls in this room are made of glass. People can see us. Dad himself could be walking by and see us.
He runs his thumb over mine and smiles. No one can see us practically holding hands because of how we’re standing.
