Paul

I didn’t sleep all night again.

But I’m not tired. We had a repeat of the other night. An overindulgence of wild sex that left me drunk on her, intoxicated with pleasure and the need for more.

Fuck, this woman has always had me under some kind of spell; it’s just more prominent now.

I was high on her, and truth be told, I couldn’t sleep because I didn’t want to risk waking up and discover she’d left like the other day.

It was the worst feeling ever, and I didn’t want to get my hopes up that she really accepted my offer only to have her change her mind on me.

She’s still here.

It’s late morning, and as of five minutes ago, we’re both officially late for work.

Instead of taking a shower and rushing to start the day, I’m in the kitchen making her breakfast. They have everything here. I provisionally booked the room for two nights with a view to having it over the month when I got her answer.

I meant what I said about us living out our fantasies here. The old ones and new ones.

I want it all. We’ll have them, and it will be just like the old days. We’ll play with each other and have our room to play in too.

I hear the slight echo of her footsteps in the bedroom, then the door opens, and she walks out wearing my shirt.

I stop stirring the scrambled eggs just to look at her. She’s beautiful and sexy as fuck with her legs on show and her nipples pressing against the cotton fabric of my shirt.

“Hi,” she says with a little smile.

Good, she’s smiling—that’s a very good sign. Last night, we didn’t do much talking. I hope we can now.

“Hi. Sleep well?” I grin.

“You should know.”

I chuckle. I’m glad it’s not weird between us. “Come here.”

She comes over to me, and I kiss her. She runs her fingers over my chest, and I want to take her all over again.

She backs away and presses her lips together, biting back a smile. “We’re late for work. You’re going to get me in trouble.”

“Baby, how about we blow off work today?”

“Oh my God… why do I want to say yes? I have clients to see.”

“Me too.”

She smiles. “Paul, you are so bad.”

“We’ll call in and say we had something we were working on. Okay?”

She thinks for a moment and nods. “Okay.” Seriousness washes over her face, and she gazes up at me. “What are we doing now?”

“Talking. Just talking.”

“Talking,” she repeats.

“About what we want. What we’re going to do.”

“What do you want to do?”
