Mafia Monster's Forced Bride
At first, it was just proving a point of being able to kiss Roman in front of these men. Then his hands moved to the base of her back, and slowly, they started to travel up, to sink into her hair. She liked his touch. The feel of his hands on her, and she didn’t want him to stop.
She pulled away, a little taken aback.
Roman’s gaze captured hers, and without another instruction, he cupped her face and pulled her back for another kiss. His lips were highly addictive.
In the distance, she heard someone clear their throat, but she was enjoying the kiss a little too much.
Roman once again traced across her lips, and this time, she was prepared for it so that when she opened her mouth, and he plundered inside, it didn’t take her by surprise. Stroking her tongue against his, she tasted the hint of coffee.
All too soon, the kiss came to an end, and she immediately stood, hating that they had an audience.
“This is the end of the lesson?” Alex asked.
“Same time, tomorrow.”
Without a backward glance, Alex moved to the stairs and ran up them, not stopping until she rushed through the house and went to her bedroom.
One glance at the large bed, and she knew Roman would be joining her.
She had already changed and wore her pajamas. As if on cue, Roman followed into the room behind her.
“Do you have a preference for what side of the bed you like?” she asked.
Back at her father’s home, she’d avoided sleeping in the same bed as him, but it would seem she wasn’t going to be that lucky this time.
“Either side. I don’t care.”
Alex nodded and took the side nearest the door. Pushing the blankets back, she slid inside and felt a little nervous.
Roman cleared his throat. She kept her eyes closed as she imagined him removing his clothes, preparing to climb into bed.
When the bed moved, she couldn’t help but tense up. This was going to be an awful night’s sleep.
Neither of them spoke.
Alex opened her eyes and stared across the room, not that she could make much of anything out. It was dark.
“I’m sorry about the guys,” Roman said.
“They’re trying to help.”
“Can I at least look at you?”
It was on the tip of her tongue to tell him no but decided there was no point in being difficult at this time. They were both in the same bag here.
She rolled over. It was still dark, but she could make him out as he was close.
“How are you feeling?”
“Fine. You?”
“You don’t have to lie to me.”
“I’ve never shared a bed with anyone,” she said. “At least I haven’t been forced to.”
He laughed.
She noticed he didn’t have the same problem. They were two different people.
