Never Enough (Meet Me in Montana 1)

I’d passed that information along to Kaylee. She’d rubbed her hands together, and an evil grin had spread over her face. “I think I’ll go introduce myself to Mrs. Julia Kent.”

“Be warned,” I’d advised her last night, “she probably already knows you and Ty danced and left the bar together a couple weeks back.”

Walking up to Thunder, I smiled. “Hey, handsome. How was your day?”

“Long.”

I spun around at the sound of Brock’s voice. My mouth instantly went dry when I saw him. Cowboy boots. Tight jeans. White T-shirt. White cowboy hat.

He looked delicious.

“Hey,” I said, realizing how happy I was to see him.

“Hey back at ya.”

He moved toward me in easy strides, making my insides quiver with anticipation. All thoughts of whatever else I had been thinking about vanished. The only thing I could think about was Brock kissing me. Touching me. Taking me right here, in the barn. I was turned on simply from the sight of him.

“Lincoln?” he softly whispered as he stopped in front of me. “You’re looking at me like you want me.”

With a barely there nod, I replied, “I do.”

He pushed his fingers into my hair. “I’m sorry I didn’t get to see you yesterday. It was a crazy day on the ranch. Dad takes full advantage when he’s got all three of his boys home.”

“It’s okay. I was exhausted from work. I have a client who wants an ocean theme in her living room, dining area, and kitchen.”

He grinned. “Julia Kent?”

I gasped. “How did you know?”

“She’s always been obsessed with the ocean. I bet she was dressed all in blue too.”

My eyes widened in shock. “Yes! I thought she had done that for inspiration!”

Brock laughed and wrapped his arm around my back, pulling me closer. “She’s also a big gossip.”

With a small grin, I replied, “Yes, I found that out quickly.”

Then, his mouth was on mine. And I was lost. There wasn’t anything I wouldn’t do to have this man kiss me.

His hands moved down my sides, gripping my ass and lifting me up like it was nothing for him. My legs wrapped around him, his hard length pressing against me.

“Lincoln,” he gasped when our mouths pulled apart.

He winced when I squeezed my legs, trying to feel more of him.

“Are you hurt?” I asked.

With a smile, he rubbed his nose over mine. “Cracked rib from my ride last weekend.”

“What?” I nearly shouted. “Brock, put me down!”

He laughed. “Hell no. I want you.”

“Then take me into the house, and we can be careful.”

Something moved over his face. The idea of taking me into the house was what had caused it.

Is it because he shared that house with Kaci? I am so stupid. Of course that’s what it is.

“I want you right here, in the barn.”

My stomach burned with desire. “Brock.” It was all I could manage to get out, and even then, it was with a heavy breath.

Before I knew what was happening, he had me back on the ground, my right boot had come off, and my pants and panties were pulled down and off that leg. He didn’t even take the time to remove everything. My hands shook as I undid the button and zipper on his jeans. The sound of my heart hammering in my chest filled my ears. What in the world did this man do to me? I was willing to have sex right here in my own barn, knowing anyone could walk in at any moment. The idea of it thrilled me.

Brock pulled out his wallet and took out a condom, quickly ripping it open and slipping it on.

I wanted him. Just like this. Intense and passionate. Something I had never experienced until I’d met this man.

His fingers pushed inside me, and a deep growl came from the back of his throat. “You’re so wet.”

“Yes,” I panted. “You make me that way, just by being near you.”

His eyes filled with lust, and he picked me up again. I carefully wrapped myself around him as he lowered me onto him. He filled me so full I had to hold my breath to adjust to the size of him. Not to mention I was still a bit sore from last weekend.

“You feel like heaven.”

He walked us back and pressed me against the wall. He moved slowly at first, then went faster. Harder.

I cried out, and he stilled. “Shit, are you okay?”

I nodded. “Yes. Do it again.”

He smiled, and I felt my heart open up more to him.

“Tell me what you want from me, sweetheart.”

Our eyes met. I knew what I wanted—but did I have the guts to tell him? “I want . . .”

He slowly pulled out, barely keeping himself inside me. When he arched a brow, I realized he wasn’t going to move until I said it.

“I want you to not be gentle. I want it harder. Faster.”
