Wild Girl (Aston Creek High 3)

« Prev  Chapter  Next »

God, these girls have so much to learn. I’m really going to enjoy being the one that gets to help them with that.

Starting to bore of their bullshit, I get to my feet and go to make my way onto the court when their skit takes a turn. A blanket is laid out on the court and the girl with my name across her chest kneels on it as the girl portraying Slade steps up to her.

I roll my eyes. Great. They’re going to reenact our famous sex scene.

Snickers are heard around the gymnasium and I clench my jaw. Haven’t we already been over this? Rachel already tried to humiliate me with a sex tape that was sent around. Surely, she can’t think this is worse?

The two on the makeshift bed in the center of the court start fooling around, arm and legs flying everywhere. “Oh, Slade,” my imposter says. “Give me all you’ve got, you big stud.”

“Damn straight, Vigaro,” the pathetic version of Slade says, making me roll my eyes with how the girl said the ridiculous nickname wrong. “You’ll take it all night long.”

The two put on an appalling performance that has the crowds laughing while the families of the players are shaking their heads, wondering why the school has allowed this to go on so long.

The fake Sky tears the shirt off her Slade to reveal the girl in a skin-colored bikini top and a six-pack drawn onto her stomach. ‘Sky’ makes a show of being flustered by the body before her and just as she’s about to reach for her man, another girl wearing a superman costume comes in, one hand on her hip and the other in the air. The girl walks forward and the closer to the center she gets, the clearer her character becomes as the superman symbol in the center of her chest has been replaced with a picture of Damian’s face.

My stomach drops as my eyes flick toward the boys who look just as nervous as I feel. The cheer team couldn’t possibly know what we did, right? Though, on the bright side, I’m sure Damian is getting a kick out of their portrayal of him as superman.

Superman Damian strides toward the couple on the bed. “HALT!” the imposter demands. “How dare you start the festivities without me. I insist that I join.”

Oh, no, no, no.

“Oh, my,” the shitty version of myself giggles in a high-pitched tone, pretending to be flustered by the offer of a three-way as she waves her face. “I couldn’t possibly. What would everyone think of me?”

Nessa steps up beside me. “What the fuck do they think they’re doing?” she murmurs low, trying not to gain any more attention than what’s already on my back. “Do they have a fucking death wish?”

“It’ll be fun,” fake Slade promises as Superman Damian kneels down behind her, stealing my attention right back.

Principal Randwell’s sharp tone cuts across the snickering gymnasium. “Okay, I think I’ve seen more than enough,” he roars, storming up to the cheer team. “I’m putting an end to this atrocity.”

Rachel laughs, her eyes flicking over to me. “I don’t understand, Sir,” she says, trying her best to appear innocent. “We’re just trying to share a story.”

“What you’re trying to do is humiliate one of my students.”

Nessa nudges me. “You’ve got three fucking seconds to own it before this shit becomes the best gossip this school has ever seen.”

Fuck. She’s right.

I glance across at the boys who both look as though they could kill the whole fucking cheer team, but when it comes down to it they know every girl on the team is just a follower. They’re sheep and nothing else. There is only one true mastermind behind all of this and right now, she’s smirking right at me as though she’s won.

Slade nods, letting me know he’s down with whatever I want to do to handle this while I don’t bother looking to Damian. I know he’s down no matter what and admitting to the fact that we all fooled around isn’t exactly a hardship for Damian. In fact, I’d dare say he’s damn proud of it.

I take a deep breath and let it out, trying to leave the humiliation behind. “Oh, no, Randwell,” I say in a singsong voice, making sure that every last person in the gymnasium can hear me. “You didn’t need to stop them on my account. They were just about to get to the best part.”

Principal Randwell’s brows furrow as I step right up to the girl with my name on her chest. I throw my arm over her shoulder and tug her in hard to my side. She instantly shrinks away which only manages to make the smile on my face grow even wider. “Umm,” Randwell says looking between us all. “Am I missing something?”
