“Let’s do this then.”

“Okay. I’m good to go. I need to have another chat with Addison.”

“I bet.” He smiles at me and now he’s got the right impression. We head downstairs and into the wedding hall area. It’s completely decked out from floor to ceiling in flowers and ribbons.

“Addison, did a great job didn’t she?”

“Yes she did.” I grin like a fool until I see his mother. Refusing to look at her, I see my dad and give him a nod. We’re ready for the women to come in. I’m aching to see, touch, and kiss Addison.

Chapter 9

Addison

His eyes follow me as I walk up the aisle, drinking me in, undressing me so indecently. My face flushes knowing that everyone has to be seeing what’s going on. His gaze doesn’t move from me even as I come up to my place alongside the bride’s position. The music begins, and while everyone faces the door to see Mads walk in, Tanner’s eyes are still on me. He dips his tongue out and brushes it over his lips.

I want to hit him because it reminds me of his mouth doing dirty talking to my pussy. I gently clench my thighs, and he doesn’t miss that movement. A low groan escapes his throat, catching the wedding party’s attention for a moment. He freezes with embarrassment.

From then on, he’s on his best behavior. The ceremony comes to an end, and this is the moment we have to walk together. I’m shaking from nervous anticipation. I’m not sure why since, I didn’t have any hesitation spreading myself wide for him. He’s better than any fantasy I ever had of him.

My turn. He holds his arm out, and I slide my hand through his, interlocking ourselves.

“You’re beautiful. That should have been our moment.”

“Isn’t that a bit too soon?”

“I’ve been waiting for you day in and out. Now that I’ve got you I’m not letting go.” He pats my hand that rests on his arm. “You’ll get used to it.”

I don’t know what to say because it’s too good to be true. I’ve loved this man before I even met him, and every day together only solidified it. When his ex-stepmom, tried to introduce me to other men, I felt like I was betraying Tanner. Now, I’m not sure where we go from here.

“Smile, baby. People are going to think I’m kidnapping you.”

“Sorry.” I smile naturally when he calls me baby.

“See you got it. Fuck, I’m going to punch Frank who’s staring at you. He’s asking for me to beat his ass.”

“Territorial.”

“When you have something priceless you’d do anything to keep it. You’re mine and fuck if I’ll let anyone tear us apart.” I stumble slightly at his words. My heart and soul all crave every single word he’s uttered to me. How can I be so lucky? A man who holds back from everyone else but lets go and lets me in, wanting forever together like I do.

As we step into the hall, the photographer, a friend of Emmitt’s snaps a shot of us. He winks as we pass him, saying “next wedding” to himself.

Tanner tilts his head toward me and raises my hand to his lips, kissing it. “Yes, we will,” Tanner states, leading me into the dining room where they set up the photoshoot with the wedding party. The guests will be directed to the ballroom where the reception will be held. It’s amazing how beautiful this home is and that it had its own reception hall and it’s big enough for a hundred people. There’s only sixty guests, so this place is fantastic for a wedding.

We entered the hall room and he pulled me to the side. “We only have a moment,” he growls, slamming his mouth to mine. I cling to the lapels on his tux and his hands slide around my waist, cupping my ass and lifting me up to feel his length.

“Tanner,” I moan.

“What are you two doing?” Tanya screeches out.

Tanner turns his head away from mine to glare at her. “None of your fucking business, Tanya. Don’t you have someone else to annoy.”

“I told you this boy isn’t any good for you.” She grabs my arm and tries to drag me away.

“Let her fucking go, or I’ll destroy you,” Tanner warns her through gritted teeth.

“What? You don’t want her to know our little secret, do you?” she whispers just enough for the three of us to hear.

“Hey, Mom, leave Tanner alone. Come on it’s time for pictures.” I pull away from Tanner, disgusted because now I know they had some sort of Fifty Shades type bullshit going on. Gross.

I head over to Mads who needs me anyway. I do my best not to let him touch me, but he refuses to give an inch. He bends down and whispers, “She’s a lying cunt. And if I didn’t love Emmitt, I’d let everyone know she’s a fucking sick pervert.”
