Those were words that I really needed to hear from him, because what we are doing is a big risk for both of us. But he says it will be alright and I know I can trust him.

Mark
Lisa is in the bathroom. I groan as I look at all the paperwork spread out on the table. I know I have been doing little work while I have been away from the office.

I nod as we keep kissing.
“If I am not able to get the partners to understand, then I’ll look for another job and give up the Ozark project,” I explain.
She stops kissing me and looks at me in shock.
“But why?” she asks.
I look at her lovingly and say, “Because you are more important to me.”
She beams. I’m glad I’ve made her happy again. She climbs into my lap and kisses me passionately. I wrap my arms around her and kiss her back.
