“Yeah, learn to knock right,” Savannah says suddenly, catching me completely the fuck off guard. I burst into an unsuspected laughter. When her big, beautiful eyes widen at her own words, I see she’s shocked herself.

“I’ll be at my desk,” I hear Felicity say through my laughter.

“Hush.” Savannah pokes me in the stomach after the door closes. “That was mean of me. I’ll apologize to her before we leave later.” Her bottom lip puffs out as she drops her head.

“You two not like each other or something?” I ask. Something is going on between them. Savannah doesn’t have a mean bone in her body, so I’m not sure how that’s even possible. I glance toward the closed office door. Felicity must have done something to her, and that shit doesn't sit right with me.

Part of me loved when my girl stood up for herself, but another part of me wants to protect her from ever having to do so. Especially when it’s in my place of business.

“It’s fine.” She peeks back up at me. She wants me to let it go. “I’m hungry.” I can’t deny her anything when she’s looking at me with those beautiful eyes.

“All right,” I say, letting her change the topic. She’s learning how to work me already. Good, she must be realizing my need to take care of her overrides everything else and she can distract me with it.

The quicker she truly understands that, the sooner she’ll let me all the way in. And I won’t stop until I’m there. Not until I have every piece of her. Mind, body and soul.

“I’ve been hit with a wedding tornado.” I laugh.

I was able to get over to Ollie’s in time to meet the wedding planner. I swear that lady practically exploded with wedding ideas and details. I can’t believe how much was covered in such a short time. When Ollie told me how quickly Jason wanted to have the wedding, I laughed but thought, Okay, we can do this. It will be a small simple wedding.

I was so wrong. Ollie is still getting all the bells and whistles. As she should. It’s always been her dream to have a fairy-tale wedding. It makes me so happy to see it come to fruition. I haven't known Jason long, but I do know he wants to give my girl everything she’s ever dreamed of, so I know without a doubt that he’ll make it happen for her.

“Right?” Ollie laughs. I flip through a few more pages of the book Giselle the wedding planner left for bridesmaid dresses.

“You’re pregnant,” I say again. It randomly pops out of my mouth. It has been since I got here.

“I am.” She rests her hand on her stomach. “I know I’m young but—”

“Don’t do that. Not with me.”

She leans over, resting her head on my shoulder. “Right.”

I turn and kiss the top of her head.

I’ve always loved how affectionate Ollie is. When I lost my mom, she was the only person that really cuddled me. I know it might sound silly, but everyone needs someone to cuddle them every now and then. To even tell them that they are loved. Ollie is that person for me. She may not be my blood, but she’s my sister. I know that no matter what, she’ll always be there for me. The same as I will with her. She’s never getting rid of me, even if she tries.

“Now spill what’s going on with Archer and you. He really kidnapped you back to his place?” I’d filled her in about the man showing up and how Archer lost it with how easily I almost let him into my house. Ollie gave me an ass chewing of her own.

“He wants me to stay with him for now. I still can’t believe he had the temp agency place me in his office.”

“I can.” Ollie lifts her head. “I mean, Jason blackmailed me to hang out with him that first night.” I snort a laugh. He got her good on that one.

“True.”

“Have you two…” She trails off, wiggling her eyebrows.

“No!” I glance over my shoulder to make sure our guys aren’t around. They went out into the club area, but they like to sneak up on us. We’re sitting at the giant island in the kitchen of Jason’s place at the club.

I know most of the men have crash pads here. Jason’s is giant, but he is, after all, the president and stays here more often than not from my understanding. Archer is more of a silent partner. I think he gave Jason a lot of the starting money to launch everything. He doesn’t come out to play unless some shit goes down. Then he comes out and handles what he needs to from what I’ve gathered so far.

“We might be the world's oldest holdout virgins, but I have no regrets,” Ollie declares, jumping up from her chair. “Well, I’m out of the club now.” Her hand goes to her belly again.
