Dare Me Tonight (The Knight Brothers 3)

Ethan frowned. “Maybe I was too caught up in my own shit over the last year to realize you needed me.”
Sebastian rolled his eyes. “You’re entitled to take time for yourself. Let’s face it. Mandy fucked you over. If you needed to pull back to get past it, nobody blames you.”
Ethan nodded. But he was slowly coming back to himself, he thought, and he had a little sprite of a woman who’d spent all of twenty-four hours with him to thank.
And he was back to thinking of Sienna. This time it was Ethan gripping the armrest of his seat, because no matter what had occurred between them, it was over. Ethan was by no means ready for any kind of relationship and Sienna had commitment kind of girl written all over her pretty face.

Sienna had accomplished a lot in her two weeks working under Ian, although he’d handed over preliminary approval on things to his sister Olivia, the executive director of the Miami Thunder. Sienna wasn’t as close with Olivia as she was with Avery, but they had a good personal relationship and were gaining an even better one by working together. She’d pulled the other woman into the minute details of her ideas, and together they’d formed a partnership of sorts that worked. Considering this was a last-minute add-on to the stadium as a whole, they’d made a good start, including hiring an internet company that could oversee and help implement the apps and make Sienna’s ideas reality.
She walked into the old stadium and headed directly for Olivia’s office, bypassing the brunch that had been set up for guests. The smell of the bacon had her stomach churning and it wasn’t a pleasant sensation. She hadn’t felt well the last couple of days, either, and she figured she’d picked up a virus or something.
She walked into the office to find Olivia eating an egg sandwich, and that triggered her gag reflex. “Excuse me.”
She ran for the nearest ladies’ room, making it just in time. Pulling herself together, she washed up and dug a breath mint out of her purse before heading back to Olivia’s office.
“Are you okay?” Olivia perched her glasses on her head and met Sienna’s gaze with a concerned look on her face.
Sienna nodded. “I think I have a bug or something. I may just go home early.”
Olivia’s gaze softened. “You should do that. I think Ian just wants us to stop by and meet the people he’s invited for a big stadium meeting. I’m sure you can slip out right after.”
“I can do that.” The imminent nausea had passed. “Do you know who he’s hosting?” Sienna placed her handbag onto a chair and settled into the seat beside it.
“The company in charge of security and smart tech at the new stadium.” Olivia glanced at the computer screen by her desk. “Ethan and Sebastian Knight.”
If Sienna hadn’t just thrown up, she might have lost it anyway, hearing that Ethan was in the building and Ian expected them to meet. Of course, her half brother had no idea that there was any more between Sienna and Ethan than a casual acquaintance from their brief weekend together.
“You look like you’re going to be sick again,” Olivia said, brows furrowing.
“No. I’m okay.” She was now forewarned, which she appreciated. She’d have a few precious minutes to come to terms with seeing him again and pretend he’d been nothing more to her than a good host.
Not the man she’d propositioned. Who she’d lost her virginity to. Sat half-naked with while they devoured Chinese food. Slept wrapped in his arms. And had woken up to find him thrusting inside her, then climaxing all over her back.
God.
Were the recollections still as vivid for him as they were for her? Did he wake up thinking about their time together and fall asleep the same way? Did he wrap his hand around his thick cock and make himself come to the memories of their bodies grinding together? Because she did variations of all those things.
And yet she had to face him again now and pretend he was a business associate of Ian’s she barely knew. To her surprise, the thought of him looking right through her hurt more than it should given their agreement.
One time and nobody would ever know.
“Ready?” Olivia asked, placing her glasses onto her face and rising from her seat.
“Of course.” Sienna picked up her handbag and followed Olivia out of the office, doing her best to pull herself together and lock away any sexy thoughts of Ethan Knight.

Ethan didn’t need to be wined and dined, or in this case fed breakfast, while meeting some of the major league football stars who played for the Miami Thunder. Although he realized this wasn’t geared toward him but was a corresponding photo opp and charity breakfast, and it was probably easier for Ian to meet them here before heading over to the new stadium for a walk-through and meeting.
