“I don’t know what that was for, but if you kiss me like that again, I’m not going to stop and you’re going to end up with my dick deep inside your pussy, bred, wed, and tied to me so no one can take you away from me. Know that, Georgie. Get some sleep.” I kiss her forehead, and she scurries from the room without looking back.
I don’t care about the pizza because nothing tastes better than Georgie, and I’m sure that I’ll be reliving her flavor as I stroke out my orgasm over and over. I smile as I walk into the living room to blow out the candles. Sitting in my favorite chair, I watch the storm go wild from the living room windows and think about my first day with my new roommate. She might act like she doesn’t want me, but she’s not as indifferent as she pretends to be.
“This stay may just break us both, but I will have Georgie as my wife,” I mutter, closing my eyes.
Chapter Six
Georgie
I’ve avoided Sean for a full twenty-four hours and it’s super childish, but I’m scared that I’ll fall right into his arms and give him exactly what he wants—and if I’m honest with myself; exactly what I want. Still, I’ve kept my distance, which he made easy. Of course, I didn’t leave my bedroom until I knew he was gone for the day.
He left me a note with his cell number, letting me know that he had a conference that he had to attend all week and that he would be back every evening around seven or so. I showered, cleaned up, and made it out of the house by noon with my phone, tablet, and laptop charged so I could look for a job while I hung around the city.
The next morning as soon as Sean left the apartment, my wretched sisters call me together. “Oh well, well, well. I didn’t think you two remembered I existed,” I huff, answering the phone with a whole lot of attitude. I’m already on my second cup of coffee since I didn’t sleep a wink last night. My mind and body ached to run across the apartment and into Sean’s room.
“Oh, stop being so dramatic. We were trying to see how you were doing.”
“You mean after you told Sean he could just move into the apartment and invade my personal space and didn’t bother to mention it to me?”
“Come on. We want you to be happy, and we know that you feel something for him.”
“That’s not the point. You could have told me.”
“So you could tell us no.”
“Um…would that have stopped you?”
“Not really, but if you put up a convincing argument, we might have considered it. I mean, he hasn’t put the moves on you, has he? He promised he’d behave.” I blush, and I’m grateful this isn’t a video chat.
“No, he hasn’t.” I leave out that I mauled him in the kitchen and came on his cock while dry humping him against our fridge and it was the most amazing orgasm ever. I look over at the offending object and decide I need to get out of the kitchen before I get excited again. It’s time to figure out my plans for today, like getting a job.
“See, and I’m sure he wants to because the man talks and asks about you, and let’s not even mention the whole security team thing,” Lydia says with a dreamy sigh. As a romance author, she loves to see the hearts and flowers in everything, and I can’t blame her because my heart wants those things as well. It’s the rational side of me that is afraid of him and the hurt he could bring.
“Security team?” I ask as I enter the living room and sit in his chair.
“Fucking Lydia,” Darcy hisses.
“What do you mean, security team?” I question when Darcy scolds her. I can’t believe how much my sisters keep from me.
“Nothing.”
“Don’t nothing me,” I snap out.
“Okay,” Darcy says, taking a deep breath and then adds, “So he’s hired a security guard to make sure you’re safe whenever you leave the apartment or when you travel.”
“What? Why?”
“Because he loves you. You sent him away, but he’s like our guys. He doesn’t want to be away from you and not have you protected. I almost died, and do you remember the guy that pulled you back from the whole incident at the airport to help?”
“Was that him?”
“It was one of them. They rotate out. I don’t know the details, but please don’t be mad. Bennett says it’s a big deal because Sean’s worried that he could lose you and…it’s a dangerous world out there.”
“Don’t tell him I know. Can you at least be on my side for this?” It’s messed up that I have to ask them that, but it seems like they do whatever he asks.
