Luca - Page 70

“I’d rather you told me than I found out like this!”

I pointed over to where Luca stood and as he turned scanning across the club his eyes met mine and the look of horror that met my fury was palpable.

The brunette next to him ran her hands across his chest then curled herself against him as she held him around his waist. I couldn’t stand here and watch it, so I did what I always do best. I downed my drink, slammed it on the table, grabbed the blond dude by the hand and headed for the dancefloor.

“Shits about to go off.” Gina groaned behind me.

The erotic beat of the music pulsed through my body as I danced up against anyone and everyone on that dancefloor letting the music take me away. I couldn’t believe I’d been playing this game, the hard to get so fight for me game and I was the only player. He’d folded ages ago, cashed in his chips and moved onto another girl and I was so self-assured it hadn’t even occurred to me that that could have been a possibility. I needed to get over myself and him, fast.

“So I guess my chat up lines aren’t so bad after all.”

The blond guy wrapped an arm around my waist and pulled me closer to him.

“Dude you have the worst chat I’ve ever heard, but your moves are good enough.”

I whispered back into his ear as we bumped and ground along to the beat.

My heart was still beating frantically in my chest and I was shaking but I tried to clear my mind as best I could with the help of the music and the man with his arms around me. The wrong man.

“You know I think I lost my teddy bear.” His mouth was so close to my ear I had to fight the urge to push him away.

“What the hell are you talking about now?” I closed my eyes to block the world out.

“I lost my teddy…so can I take you to bed tonight instead?”

I hung my head down groaning and was about to reply with some sarcastic comment when a reply came on my behalf.

“Over my dead body.”

Luca stood behind us with his arms folded and violence radiating off him. My face fell and I gritted my teeth in anger.

“I think you already forfeited the right to have a say in who I choose as my bed time companion.” I spat out turning my back on him.

“Like hell I did.”

He pulled the blond dude off me faster than I could form a coherent response.

The blond guy didn’t put up a f

ight, he was here for a fun time and was a lover not a fighter. Well a one night stand kind of lover but a lover all the same.

“What is your problem?”

I pushed Luca in the chest with both my hands as blond dude started dancing up against a blonde girl next us. Luca just stood his ground and glared at me.

“Go back to your girlfriend and leave me alone.”

“She isn’t my girlfriend.” He replied through gritted teeth.

“Go back to your fuck buddy then or whatever she is….the new dirty little fuck I guess?”

He yanked me closer to him and breathed hot lusty breaths down my neck.

“Trust me if I could walk away I would but a little bird told me we needed to talk.”

“A little bird called Gina?” I shook my head and bit my lip. “Forget it, I have nothing to say to you. Just go.”

He grabbed my arm more forcefully then and dragged me off the dancefloor and towards a door marked ‘private’, pushing it with so much power it ricocheted off the wall as it burst open and then he released me as he stood to block the doorway.
