“Not until you’re properly hydrated, doctor’s orders. Eat, and then you can go back to letting Seb give you so many orgasms you sleep for days.”
I leaned over and rested my head on his shoulder as I grabbed a slice of bacon and relished in the salty taste. God, I had missed food. Looking at the overflowing tray, I knew I wouldn’t be able to eat it all after going for a couple of weeks with only a drink of water here and there. But damn, I wanted to eat everything he offered me.
“I’m sorry about Mel, Tris,” I said quietly into the silence. He turned and kissed my hair.
“I don’t blame you, poppet.” I felt his lips move against my head. “Neither does Elliot,” he sighed. “He just needs some time to sort out his shit, okay?”
I nodded and turned my attention back to the tray while Tristan plaited my hair out of my face. After he was pleased with his work, he got my meds and instructed me to take them before hauling off the tray of food that was only half-eaten. I felt sick and bloated but so, so happy.
“Thank you.” I smiled at him while he made sure I had clean bandages.
“Anything for you, Scarlet.” He kissed me hard, pushing my mouth open with his tongue and kissing me like he thought he’d never get the chance again. “And if I wasn’t worried Sebastian would separate my head from my body,” he said with a laugh, “I would take over the job of giving you orgasms for the day. But I won’t be denying him anything for a while.”
I smiled and kissed him again, threading my hands through his soft hair before Sebastian interrupted us like a helicopter mom. He cleared his throat and leaned against the doorframe, his arms crossed and face serious.
“Sebastian,” I groaned playfully. “Leave him alone. He brought me breakfast and dressed my wounds.”
“Yeah, and I gave you an orgasm that sent you into a stupor.”
“Is that a challenge?” Tristan asked with a smirk on his face. He stood and took the tray with him as he walked over to Seb. “Because I’ll go toe to toe with you, Seb, and I don’t think you’ll like the outcome.” He leaned in quickly and noisily kissed him on the cheek. I laughed, and Seb made a show of wiping it off and then smacking Tristan’s ass as he left.
“Your turn,” he said, turning to face me. He closed the door with his foot and then sprinted and jumped onto the bed next to me, narrowly avoiding colliding with my body. I was laughing so hard I thought I would break another rib. But it was worth it. It felt good to finally be back with my boys, safe and loved…for the time being, anyway.
