“You had to be ready for the five of us. I wasn’t about to attempt to claim you by myself.”
“I really don’t understand what you guys can get out of it. What if you find someone else attractive?”
“It’s not going to happen. We all want you, and you alone.” He kissed her again, and finally pulled away. “Rosie, we’ve all been to hell and back over the years. For the most part, we’re like brothers, stronger than brothers. There’s no one else I’d want to spend the rest of my life with. They’re my family. Today, seeing you held by the others, I wasn’t jealous, or consumed with a need to tear you away from them. I loved watching you. I loved seeing the way you let go and gave them everything.” He ran fingers through his hair. “I love being able to watch, and to know I’m going to get my turn. There’s a connection among all of us. We’re hoping you’d be willing to be part of that, and it doesn’t make you a whore. We’ve always agreed that we’d take care of you.”
He started up the car and pulled on the road toward town.
She was still shocked by everything that happened. He pulled up outside of her shop and handed her the keys. “We’ve called ahead, told Joe not to let you drive. You have our number, you need anything, call us.”
Gavin climbed out of the car, and she watched as Ethan pulled up.
There was no cocky wink, or lewd comments. She looked around the town, seeing that no one was paying them any attention.
“It’s private, Rosie. We’ll never do anything to hurt you.”
He left her stood at the side of the road. She waited for him to jump into Ethan’s truck. “We’re not leaving until you go into your shop,” Ethan said.
She turned and made her way upstairs, and finally looked back at them, giving them a wave. Entering the shop, she glared at Joe. “You’re fired.”
“No, honey, I’m not. Besides, I’m bored, as staring at the mirror all day at my awesomeness gets a little boring.”
She glared at him. “Pops called you?”
“Yep. Told me to make sure you’re taken care of. I told him that I didn’t need him to tell me how to look after my girl.” Joe was filing his nails. “I’m not sure I like this red. What do you think?”
“I think you’re not my friend.”
“So, you got freaky with the five Old Boyz?”
She paused, staring at her best friend, and not knowing what to say.
“You did? Oh, wow, this is the best news I’ve heard all day. You must tell me everything.”
“No, I’m not telling you anything. You’re on their side.”
“I’m totally on your side. I want you to get laid.”
She removed her jacket and handed Joe her keys. There was no point in arguing with the men in her life. They would stop her, and right now she didn’t feel in a good enough place to drive.
“I like them, Joe. It’s not just about the sex, even though it’s—”
“A dream come true.”
“It really is.” She sighed. “Is it wrong to want this?”
“Sweetie, it’s wrong to not want this.”
She chuckled. Trust Joe to make her feel better.
