The Chase

“She’s had a long day.” Beck paused. “Damn, it’s hot in here.”
“Well, we did work up a sweat.”
“That’s the kind of workout I’d love to have every day. Hell, all day.” Beck laughed softly, then pressed something cold against her lips. “Sip.” Cool water filled her mouth. She swallowed with a moan as he brushed a tender kiss on her forehead and eased away. “Good girl.”
“We could always cool off…” Seth didn’t finish his suggestion out loud.
“Yeah. Let’s do it.”
“Come on, angel. It’s time for some aftercare.”
Before she could ask what that meant, Seth lifted her with the ease of a sleeping child. The blanket fell away as he drew her against his chest and pressed a warm kiss to her lips. Sighing contentedly, Heavenly draped her arms around his neck and nuzzled closer. She didn’t really care where he was taking her, but a long, hot shower sounded divine. So did crawling into the big bed in the master bedroom.
Suddenly, the refrigerated air skimming her naked flesh was replaced by a gust of warmth. A bird chirped. As she lifted her heavy lids, sunlight beamed on her face. Instantly, she tensed.
“Easy, angel,” Seth soothed.
“We’re outside?”
“We are.” Beck strode across the polished concrete patio to a sleek black cabinet and retrieved a stack of towels. When he turned again, he treated her to a full-frontal view of his sculpted body.
“B-but we’re…naked,” she said in a shocked whisper.
“As the day we were born.” Seth chuckled as he strode toward the babbling water of the infinity pool. “What’s the matter? Never been skinny-dipping?”
Given Seth’s unruffled attitude, he clearly had.
“No.”
Heavenly wasn’t sure she was up for the adventure, at least not when the neighbors could see. Sunset was around the corner, but it would be hours before the backyard was completely dark.
As he eased them into the tepid water, Beck stepped into the pool behind them. When Seth set her on her feet in the shallow end, Heavenly darted a nervous glance at the surrounding houses. A towering privacy fence, framed by tall trees and sprouting bushes, blocked the neighbors’ view. Then both men cocooned her between their strong bodies. She was shrouded and submerged from the shoulders down. Heavenly relaxed.
“How’s that pretty ass of yours feeling?” Beck asked, smile taunting. “Did you enjoy your ‘funishment?’”
Heat rose to her face. “Is that what you call it? Very clever…”
“Was it nice?” Seth chuckled. “Or pleasant?”
Heavenly rolled her eyes. They were never going to let her live that conversation down. But she didn’t mind their teasing, especially when their big hands soothed her wet body.
“Yes, but I can’t believe Raine set me up like that. She knew you two weren’t going to let me out of the house wearing that dress, didn’t she?”
“Hell yes,” Beck confirmed.
“And I’m the naive twit who believed you two would like my outfit.”
“Oh, angel. We loved it,” Seth groaned.
Beck raised a censuring brow. “Just not in public. We don’t have any qualms about sharing you between us, but we’ve got a major problem with you wearing that pretty pink thing and giving other men a blatant reason to eye-fuck you.”
“If I saw that, I’d be forced to go on a killing spree. It wouldn’t be pretty.”
Heavenly might have thought Seth was kidding…but his tone sounded absolutely serious. Even Beck sent him a sidelong glance before turning back to her.
“Don’t believe everything Raine tells you, huh? She pushed her limits constantly when she first got together with Hammer and Liam.”
“Really?” Heavenly could picture that—and she was totally intrigued.
